This is a great product for anything you do outside. I bought a lantern a couple of years ago assuming it was going to another gimmick, but it actually worked! Now have have a couple of lanterns, and a handheld one. Do yourself a favor and get one, they are great.

I bought one of these for our lake house. I never sit outside in the evenings because if there is one mosquito I am the one getting bitten out of 12 people. So we tried this out last evening and I was able to sit outside all evening and didnt get bit once! Love this! Only thing I didnt like is it doesnt come with enough of the blue pads for the evening.

We bought ours a couple of years ago (I think 3) and absolutely love it. It is smaller but for my husband and I out on the farm (with a dugout so plenty of room for mosquitos to breed in) it works wonderfully. We are shopping for a larger one so that we can cover more space for when (or if, in this crazy world) our kids and grandkids can come out. This is a wonderful product and as long as you keep making the refills, we'll keep buying them and using your product. Thanks for a great way to stop scratching. 5 plus stars

I investigated and read everything about the thermacell lantern, then bought it. I first tested it with friends in Phoenix area, where we typically don't have many mosquitoes... But last spring we did, and it worked! Then I took it to our cabin in White Mountains, where for the past 2 summers I had lost patio privileges due to mosquitoes during the monsoon season. I have a cabin because I want to sit outdoors.... I prayed it would give me back my porch! It did! Now when we are invited to dinner, I bring wine AND thermacell! No one is complaining! Love my Thermacell!

Bought this after reading good reviews and figured wed give it a shot. We live in maine where the bugs are fierce making it hard to work outside. With this lantern going mosquitos still attack without care, working on the car with the lantern all of 3ft away i was still getting chewed. Old school camp fire fends bugs off better than this lantern does

Have used over the past several years at the house, which has a pond for its front yard. This does the job of keeping us bug free when enjoying an evening by the pond. No sprays, no odor, no mosquitoes.

Used our lantern last evening, and although no mosquitoes, we were attacked relentlessly by the pesky " no-see-ums", despite relocating the device at various locations by our table.

Bought this for my sister-in-law who lives in Gulf Shores, Alabama for Christmas. She was so excited and can't wait to use it and be able to enjoy her fire pit.

This is a great alternative to flames and sprays. It's quiet and gives off a soft glow of light at night. Would definitely recommend this to everyone!

Got a couple of these specifically for a campsite. Liked them so well, got some more for home. They really work well, add a touch ambience and light, and are were exactly what we were looking for.
