garage ready/works great

I've had this freezer for 4 months and it's exactly what I wanted. No issues with frost build up/haven't defrosted it yet. I like that it was "garage ready" since a lot of freezers don't work properly in an unheated garage. Much easier to find items than in my chest freezer.

it's a garage freezer

metal shelves are nice, and door seals tightly. got to temperature overnight; we'll see how it holds up

Arrived damaged twice

I purchased this upright freezer and, unfortunately, the original order arrived damaged with a noticeable dent. I returned it and reordered the same freezer, but the replacement also arrived with a dent in the door. Thankfully, the second dent was much smaller and less significant than the first one, so I decided to keep it. Other than the cosmetic damage, the freezer itself works well and performs as expected. It cools properly, has a good amount of storage space, and runs quietly. I just wish there had been better quality control and handling during shipping.

Shelving is not adjustable or removable.

It's a nice size and easy to move (on wheels and not very heavy). My only complaint (my fault for not reading more carefully) is that the shelving is not removable, which greatly impacts the cubic footage. I can't store nearly as much in this 10cu ft upright as I could in my 7cu ft chest, but other than that it's fine. The problem with the chest freezer is you have to take it all out to get something from the bottom, but this upright one, you can get to things easier but doesn't hold as much or tall things because shelving is not adjustable.

Hi Carolyn, the shelving is not adjustable as the evaporator coils are affixed to the underside of the shelves for cooling efficiency.

The quality isn't there. I received the freezer well package. But unfortunately, the leveling legs for the front were two different sizes. One was bigger than the other. So leaving it was fun. But I took my old upright out and right before the scrapers came I reused my 2 old leveling feet. As for the build quality all the plastics trim pieces insdie the freezer dont line up and pop out as soon as you fix one side. My 15 year old upright from sams was made better then this one. Amazing how cheaply made this one is for the price.

have had mine for three years compartments ice over too quickly even on the lowest setting have to defrost it at least once a month have even added extra door sealer other than the frequent defrosting I love mine

Do not buy

A complete price of junk. Buyer beware! Freezer worked for 2 weeks and stopped. I was using it to store beef and seafood and lost several hundred dollars of food.

Junk Freezer

This freezer is junk. Don't waste your money. Mine stopped working after only 5 months. I never moved it or abused it in any way it just quit working.

Short Lived

This item was given as a wedding gift. We just received a phone call from the recipient that the freezer has failed and all foods inside were lost. The husband is a hunter and had numerous wild game and other foods stored inside the freezer. This is a great loss for a freezer to have failed within only 6 months. How can we handle this situation? Doubt it is 10 cu ft freezer

We got this freezer today. Delivered laying down and packing was all ripped. Had to leave sit to see if was going to run. Took nearly 5 hours to start freezing. We emptied a 7 cu ft chest with plenty of room into this 10 cu ft and I had to jam it in so there's no way this is a 10 cu ft. Also its advertised as being stainless steel, and its not just plain old white. Doubt its going to hold up so I do not recommend
