Bought this for my toddler who is in daycare. I have to say, I love the chill insert and the mess free compartments. I keeps all the food separate and is very easy to clean. I did some digging prior to buying And at this point don’t regret spending the money. With a all the positive reviews and warranty attached to this, it was a no brained. Very happy with the product thus far! Thank you Bentgo!

Just bought the bentgo box chill for my preschooler, haven’t had for more than a month and it’s already warped. It won’t close. I followed dishwasher instructions for inserts to shelve and hand wash exterior. Added photo of box “closed” Very disappointed I need to buy a new one already.

Love the bentogo box. Purchased 3 different kinds of bentgo lunch boxes. After using few months chilled lunch box hinge broke off. Contacted the customer service and they wants by their product offered me a replacement. Love their sectional in lunch box which encourages to add variety food. You should try too!

We have used this bentgo chill lunch box off and on for my daughter’s school lunches, but noticed that recently the hinges on the lunch box had broken. Sadly, we weren’t able to use it anymore. Hoping to be able to replace with the warranty offered from bentgo.

I recently purchased a two pack of the green/navy ice pack kid boxes. Although the ice pack is an amazing idea, I feel that there is a major design flaw. With both of my boxes the inner compartment (Ice pack and lunch tray) do not clip securely into the outer box. We have a few bentgo boxes without ice packs and these always click in and never move around. I feel that this is because the lunch tray in the ice pack model is much thinner than in the original bentgo boxes and can bend and therefore pop out easily. The fact that things do not stay clicked in also makes securing the lunch box closed challenging. The latch also pops open super easily. On a few occasions my daughter’s lunch has ended up all over her back pack which as you can imagine is very stressful for a kindergartener. We have never had these concerns with our other bentgo boxes. Maybe with older kids these concerns would not be a problem. But for a 3 and 5 year old these concerns are difficult to overcome. I really wanted to love the ice pack boxes but given my many concerns the convenience is just not worth it. The orginal Bentgo lunch box is far better quality in my opinion. Customer service was great! They understood my concerns and rectified the situation quickly.

I loved it until I couldn’t use anymore due to the ice pack not fitting. I got maybe four months out of it. One day, I just couldn’t fasten it. The ice pack seemed warped. I expected to get to the end of the school year, not have to purchase a new lunch box.

We use these everyday for lunch. The kids love that they have a different food in each section which doesn’t mix and stays cool. The kids all take lunch at different hours and they all say their lunch stays cool for the day! Very happy with this product!

I bought this in the summer of 2023 before the start of the school year for my daughter. I absolutely love how it has an integrated ice pack, which saves so much space from having to include a separate one into her lunch bag. The compartments are great and good sizes. I think the product could have been even more amazing if it was modular and we can swap out the food tray for a different version like the one that’s big enough to fit a sandwich in it, and having the rubber seals on the tray edges instead of the lid.

I bought my daughter a Bentgo Kids Chill back in August based on all the amazing reviews. Let me say, I’m not sure it’s worth all the hype. The food stays room temperature (or cool-ish when you include the freeze pack) and the seals are not that great, compartments leak into one another.

This box is simple and easy to care for. I like the compartment sizes, the freezer pack that fits into the box, and is easy for my little ones to use on their own at lunch time. I do also like that the compartments are leak proof, so things like sauces do not mix into the next compartment.
