[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Talk about a big step forward - this was like switching from a loud rumbling horse carriage to a whisper quiet electric vehicle. This review will compare the old and new washer. As you can see from the photos, this was a big upgrade. The old washer and dryer looks like something from the 80's whereas the new one looks like something from the new millennium. Cosmetically, there's no comparison which one looks better. The old unit was the old tradition drum washer and made this loud and horrible slushing sound when running. People had difficulty sleeping when it was running. The new washer is super quiet and you could hardly notice it running if someone didn't tell you. From a capacity standpoint, both the capacity of the washer and dryer in the new stacked unit was almost twice that of the old unit. This means double the amount of laundry could be done in the same amount of time. Big score. One convenient feature that I really appreciated with this stacked washer and dryer unit is that the controls for BOTH the washer and dryer are accessible n the middle of the unit where everyone could access it. If the washer and dryer were purchased as separate units and stacked with a stacking kit, the controls for the top units would be way up high and hard to reach. This is a major convenience feature for anyone who needs to have a stacked washer and dryer and for height challenged people. I did encounter one surprise which was that my old stacked washer and dryer unit only needed a single 240V outlet. The new unit had a separate 240V plug for the dryer and separate 110V plug for the washer. So, if you are replacing an old unit like mine, make sure you have accommodating electric outlets nearby or else you will need to hire an electrician to install a separate 110V outlet (like I had to do for mine). All in all, I am very happy and satisfied with the new unit. Like I said, its like night and day.

I like the interior and the large capacity of this machine because of the amount of work clothes I have not to mention how heavily soiled they are. I thought I would have to ask my wife how to operate this machine. But when saw the start button and I looked at the dial and started turning it, it became easy as pie. By the time my wife came in to help me, I already had my clothes in the washer. Even thou I don't like the amount of time on some of the cycles, I was even able to shorten the time to what I wanted. While turning the dial, I saw all the cool features, like the steam options, towels, bedding, and quite a few others. It even has an option for denim. Now, I like that since I wear a lot of jeans. It even has self clean which I haven't had to try yet. Wow, I have not seen so many options on a washer. And it lets you know when its complete by playing a tune. Fancy. And I'm always looking at the dryer filter to make sure it's not packed with lent. Now, I don't have to keep looking. It has an alert to let me know and it has a vent sensor. It has an energy star certification, which for me is important. I'm not that thrilled with HE machines because of the low water issue, but I do like saving money. And with this Samsung appliance having a 20 year warranty on the motor makes it a good investment. Even thou this machine is lacking the vibration reduction technology, it only slightly shakes when it's spinning during the rinse cycle. I'm old school, so I feel like I'm in the 21st century by being able to wash and dry from a samsung smart app on the phone. I can't wait to tell the guys at work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy washing and drying clothing in this Bespoke unit. I like the large capacity, allowing me to wash and dry my bedding in one load. The SmartThings app is great addition, allowing me to be alerted when pads gave finished not only on my phone, but also on my connected Samsung TV! The flex auto- dispense is time saving, by filling it up and letting the machine dispense exactly the correct amount needed! The vibration reduction technology is amazing! The machine is so quiet while washing, spinning and drying the loads! You can stand directly in front of the working machine and not feel the floor vibration! The AI Optiwash and AI Optidry options are an added bonus to this cool machine, the machine does all of the configuration for you, keeping the guesswork to a minimum for me! The various load options from normal to bedding to activewear and everything in between allows you to choose exactly what your load is and the machine does what is needed for that load. I rank this machine a 5 star.

Despite its size, this machine doesn't compromise on performance, delivering efficient cleaning results with every load. The intuitive control panel makes operation simple and straightforward. Given we have five people in the home, it accommodates accommodates various fabric types and soil levels. The Samsung Smart Things app is super simple to use, the setup was a breeze, we just scanned the code and it did most of the setup itself. I definitely prefer using the app over the control pannel as you can choose a multidue of options that seem burried in the control pannel. I love the design of the washing machine too as it is sleek and modern and fits perfectly into our space; the large front loading door make it easy to load and remove the clothes. Overall I am highly please with my samsung washing machine and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Washing Machine I got is amazing, it has loads of space and great features. First of all the fit and finish is great all around, it is stainless steel but I was really surprised is how Fingerprint Resistant it is. The Washing Machine looks clean even after a week and half of use. The installation was breeze, we just need to make sure that the water line is compatible with Washing Machine, mine was a standard water line and it perfectly well. Other than that it was just plugging into the outlet and we were all set! I love the connectivity of this, the smart thing app was a breeze to set up with a walkthrough of each setup of the process. The App has all of the features as at the standard control panel but it is a lot better because you have more space to read and toggle all our options. It show real time updates like how much laundry is remaining. Once it is done, it does give you a notification alert. I like the app over the control panel because you get select options like preventing winkles and so on, where as on the control panel it is probably nested somewhere. Coming to the washing machine itself it is quite good, it has all the great AI features, which it initially tests with a small load of water and adjusts accordingly for the wash cycle. My washing machine is about five years old and over that I see a notable difference in the washing quality. Whenever I use soft fabrics, my old machine would wash it too much giving kind of faded color, the samsung machine is great as it able to recognize it and adjust accordingly. It made my life so much easier as I don’t have to change the setting every time, I could just select Normal wash and the washing machine would handle the rest. Although, I didn’t test it enough, I feel like the washing machine has been using significantly less water. My only pet-peeve is I wish they made the control panel a little bigger as the current one has enough space for two line of text, so there isn’t a lot of information that could be fit in it. But the smart things app more than makes up for it. I also love the integration with other smart things, like it shows the wash time left on my fridge. Overall, I have been very pleased with washing machine and it is a good upgrade to anyone looking to use a smart and connected washing machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is a huge upgrade from my top loading washer and dryer. Being able to connect over WiFi is a bonus, although the song of each cycle is certainly long enough that you won’t miss it (10+ seconds). The set visually looks great and so far is very efficient and washing and drying clothes. The stackable size is great for smaller spaces and was able to fit through my 30" doorway (barely) in the Styrofoam for delivery. My previous washer and dryer were not stackable, so I will eventually need a longer power cord for this dryer in order to place the stackable set exactly where I’d like in my laundry room. If you already have a stackable set that you’re replacing this shorter provided cord will not be an issue. Although the washer and dryer have one power button and display in the front, there are two separate power cords (one for the washer and one for the dryer). A better design would have been to combine these two cords. Compared to a top loader, this washer appears to be more gentle on my clothes. There are so many settings to choose from to wash whatever fabric you need. I like that you can create custom settings that you use commonly to make it faster to start your load. The noise level when washing is fairly quiet, but I will need to work on not trying to add too many clothes. The set comes with the sandpaper pads to help prevent the set from moving if you have an uneven load. My only complaint is after each wash cycle there is a decent amount of water sitting in the rubber edge. I use a dry cloth to clean up this water and leave the door open after each wash cycle to dry and to try and prevent mold growth or smell. The washer light will turn off after a few minutes of having the door open, which is nice. The dryer also has very efficient capability. It can dry a standard, larger load in under an hour. There are also numerous settings of dryness for every type of fabric, dryness level, and heat level desired. I only complaint with the dryer so far is that you need to dry bulk items like towels and bedding separate from clothes in order for these to fully dry. It seems that my bulky items when drying tend to concentrate in the middle throughout the cycle, so the outside clothes are sensed at my desired drying level and the cycle indicates it is complete, yet the bulky items in the center are still wet. I’ve had to remove the dry clothes and then go in to a dry these bulky items separately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm impressed with the cleaning capabilities of this washer - it pulls out way more dirt than my old one! The dryer works well but I wish it was a little easier to adjust drying time. The settings are not very intuitive, but I guess I'll get used to it. I also wish there was some kind of manual override. Everything is digital/touch activated and I'm worried that these appliances will have a shorter life because they're unusable if wanting happens to the screen.

I bought this unit at the end of January and while it's a decent machine, the dryer just seems to be a disappointment. The washer itself is good, quick, and has a lot of settings that all seem to work well. The "AI" seems to just be typical washer settings so I have many doubts that it's anything but. It's also pretty quiet and I often don't even notice it's running. The dryer, however, has been giving me a headache. It works decently on most loads but heavier things like blankets and towels have caused: the timer to go from 1 hour to 1 minute after about 15 minutes of dry time or the timer to reach 1 minute and then never ends. This seems to be a common issue with Samsung units which I didn't know until I bought it! Apparently the moisture sensor either senses part of the load is dry and ends early; senses dryer sheets and ends early; or if it gets any amount of lint/hair/etc on it, it'll end early. This also seems to cause it to run indefinitely on "Cooling" and at the 1 minute mark according to my professional vent cleaner. I'm hoping the dryer issues clear up after a few cleanings of the moisture sensor but with just how bad it's been, on a brand new unit, I'm not really sure it will. I'm hoping it won't need to be repaired since it was expensive enough AND it's brand new. I want to love this machine because it's sleek, the control panel is easy to use, and the washer is great. However, it's too heavy to move out of the narrow space it's in inside my condo and it's basically impossible to move if it's on an overflow pan. I'm giving it 3 stars because it's a decent machine that mostly works but my old dryer on my much older unit ran better even if it took forever. The auto sensor stuff seems to be incapable of correctly handling laundry which makes me question why it's been standard in seemingly every new dryer unit!

I have all samsung appliances less than 5 years old The refrigerator has had 2 ice makers, the dryer has had the main circuit board replaced and the washer has developed 2large cracks in the top. Samsung won't cover any of. It as warranty I will never purchase another samsung product !!
