Smart Features Innovation
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got my hands on this incredible washer and dryer set, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. The washer is a powerhouse, effortlessly cleaning my clothes with its advanced features. Meanwhile, the dryer not only saves me time but also energy, which is a big plus for my budget. What's more, the touchscreen interface makes operating these machines a piece of cake. Plus, the super speed wash and dry option is a game-changer, delivering the same powerful clean in under an hour. And Wi-Fi connectivity allows me to control my laundry cycle from anywhere using my phone. It's incredibly convenient and helps me make the most of my time. All in all, I couldn't be happier with my new appliances and how seamlessly they work together. The SmartThings App has been a game-changer for me. It's such a handy tool for managing all my smart devices, including my appliances, from one simple interface. It offers me the convenience and control I need to streamline my home automation effortlessly. The Vibration Reduction Technology is another standout feature for me. It's amazing how it minimizes noise and disturbances during operation, ensuring a peaceful laundry experience, especially in shared living spaces. I also appreciate the Flex Auto Dispense feature, which automatically dispenses the perfect amount of detergent or fabric softener based on the load size and soil level. It's a real time-saver and helps optimize cleaning performance while reducing waste. And let's not forget about the AI Optiwash and AI Optimal Dry technologies. These innovations utilize artificial intelligence to analyze various factors and tailor washing and drying cycles for optimal results. It's an exciting advancement in appliance technology that promises superior performance and convenience. Overall, my experience with these appliances has been nothing short of fantastic. They've truly exceeded my expectations, making laundry day a breeze and giving me more time to focus on what matters most.
Option Packed but Simple to Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to really put this unit to the test after a house guest left after a 2 week stay. My laundry had piled up pretty good and the guest bedroom bedding needed to be washed so this unit really got a workout. I am happy to report that I was overall impressed. The small stackable unit is just large enough to handle a queen-sized comforter in the wash and dryer, although it did require me repositioning the comforter during the dry cycle in order to get it completely dry. It cleaned the comforter very well without damaging it on the “bedding cycle”. Next up where several different cycles of regular clothes and delicates. The simple dial in the middle controls both wash and dry once the desired unit is selected. With a simple turn of the dial the unit will adjust the settings accordingly. Once the wash cycle is complete, the unit automatically selects the appropriate/matching dry cycle based on what was selected for the wash so all you have to do is select go. Of course you don’t have to use the recommended cycle, you can just twist to select something different. Very easy and intuitive to use. Clothes can out clean and where not over dried pretty quick. We only use Tide Pods so I can’t really attest to the use of different detergents in the detergent loading tray. The unit connects to the Samsung Smart Things app very easily. I found it very convenient for receiving completion alerts when I wasn’t near the unit. The app also allows you to create custom wash cycles for specialized loads if needed. Overall a very good small stackable unit that gives you all the functions of the larger separate units. I recommend it.
Impressive Review of a Washer and Dryer Set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely thrilled with my new washer and dryer set! These machines are absolute powerhouses when it comes to cleaning and drying clothes. The washer's advanced features make laundry a breeze, effortlessly tackling even the toughest stains. And the dryer? It's a lifesaver, cutting down both time and energy consumption, which is fantastic for my budget. The touchscreen interface. A dream to use. It's so intuitive, I barely have to think about it. And don't even get me started on the super-speed wash and dry option. It's like magic – getting a thorough clean in under an hour is a game-changer for busy folks like me. Plus, being able to control everything from my phone thanks to the Wi-Fi connectivity. It's convenience at its finest. But the real cherry on top is the SmartThings App. It's like having a personal assistant for all my smart devices, including these appliances. Managing everything from one place is a dream come true. Oh, and let's not forget about the Vibration Reduction Technology – it's a game-changer for keeping things quiet, especially in shared living spaces. And the Flex Auto Dispense feature. Genius. No more guessing how much detergent to use – it does it all for me, saving time and reducing waste. And those AI Optiwash and AI Optimal Dry technologies. Mind-blowing. The fact that they use artificial intelligence to tailor cycles for the best results? It's like having a laundry guru built right into my appliances. Overall, I couldn't be happier with these appliances. They've made laundry day a breeze, giving me more time to focus on the things that truly matter. If you're in the market for new washer and dryer, do yourself a favor and check these out – you won't be disappointed!
Beautiful, high performance washer & dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is a huge upgrade from my top loading washer and dryer. Being able to connect over WiFi is a bonus, although the song of each cycle is certainly long enough that you won’t miss it (10+ seconds). The set visually looks great and so far is very efficient and washing and drying clothes. The stackable size is great for smaller spaces and was able to fit through my 30" doorway (barely) in the Styrofoam for delivery. My previous washer and dryer were not stackable, so I will eventually need a longer power cord for this dryer in order to place the stackable set exactly where I’d like in my laundry room. If you already have a stackable set that you’re replacing this shorter provided cord will not be an issue. Although the washer and dryer have one power button and display in the front, there are two separate power cords (one for the washer and one for the dryer). A better design would have been to combine these two cords. Compared to a top loader, this washer appears to be more gentle on my clothes. There are so many settings to choose from to wash whatever fabric you need. I like that you can create custom settings that you use commonly to make it faster to start your load. The noise level when washing is fairly quiet, but I will need to work on not trying to add too many clothes. The set comes with the sandpaper pads to help prevent the set from moving if you have an uneven load. My only complaint is after each wash cycle there is a decent amount of water sitting in the rubber edge. I use a dry cloth to clean up this water and leave the door open after each wash cycle to dry and to try and prevent mold growth or smell. The washer light will turn off after a few minutes of having the door open, which is nice. The dryer also has very efficient capability. It can dry a standard, larger load in under an hour. There are also numerous settings of dryness for every type of fabric, dryness level, and heat level desired. I only complaint with the dryer so far is that you need to dry bulk items like towels and bedding separate from clothes in order for these to fully dry. It seems that my bulky items when drying tend to concentrate in the middle throughout the cycle, so the outside clothes are sensed at my desired drying level and the cycle indicates it is complete, yet the bulky items in the center are still wet. I’ve had to remove the dry clothes and then go in to a dry these bulky items separately.
Slick combo!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one slick combo of washer and dryer - a tower that saves space, easy to operate and take care of all washing needs of a family. Initially, we were apprehensive about buying such a large appliance online and that too a new product. But, it was too good an opportunity to pass up and so we pulled the trigger, and waited! So, was it worth it? oh yes! Read on to read more about our experience from delivery to living with it now below: Eventually, few weeks after the order, the day of delivery arrived and our anticipation was high. What made it more fun was some drama with dryer cable turning out to be short for our needs. After a rushed trip to get a bigger cable and figuring out how to install a dryer cable, got it working later that evening. First impressions were positive. It looks stunning! clean cut white minimalist look. gone was the clutter of many buttons on separate washer and dryer, and replaced by one simple panel with one dial to do it all. The finish in front is classy, size perfect for family, and the steel drums glistening! Moreover, this tower unit saves space. it freed up space in our laundry room that we can now do something with. Plans for those are still in works. Now, to the actual washing and drying. First thing we noticed was the unit being quite sturdy. During operation, it stays grounded and doesn't jump around. We were wondering how a stacked tower would do but those concerns were put to rest. It's easy to figure out all options and use the machine. Both washing and drying are relatively quiet. There are couple of things we wish could have been better: Since lint filter is hinged, we will have to see how much lint does escape and what maintenance that chamber will require. Another is, during wash, we notice some clicks like (?) sounds. But, is quieter than our older washer so don't see it as a major issue. Overall, easy 4.5/5 and would recommend to friends and family.
Quiet and efficient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this all in one laundry hub! It is very sleek and looks amazing, while being energy efficient! I love the control center in between the dryer and washer, this makes it easy to see, and to choose your settings, just a button to easily switch between dryer or washer. I love all of the different settings on both machines. Choosing from steam wash for Whites to bedding to active wear is a great option! I absolutely love the heavy duty drying option, along with the dryer options that match the washing cycle like the bedding, active wear, delicates loads. It litteraly is quiet and you have the laundry done before you even realize you are washing laundry! The flex auto dispense is great, just fill up the dispenser, and let the machine figure out how much is needed for the load, no more wasting detergent, softner or bleach. Being able to choose the most effective washing cycle for my laundry is awesome! The AI Opti wash and AI Opti dry technology to determine the exact needs for your load is a good addition to this laundry hub! I like the fact that the AI determines what I need, and helps me to save money by doing so! I use the SmartThings app to control my start of load, and to alert me when the cycle is finished. No matter what I am doing I see the alert on my phone or connected Samsung TV also! I like knowing how long the cycle is going to be until finished, just by looking at the app! I highly recommend!
Wonderfull All one washing machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Washing Machine I got is amazing, it has loads of space and great features. First of all the fit and finish is great all around, it is stainless steel but I was really surprised is how Fingerprint Resistant it is. The Washing Machine looks clean even after a week and half of use. The installation was breeze, we just need to make sure that the water line is compatible with Washing Machine, mine was a standard water line and it perfectly well. Other than that it was just plugging into the outlet and we were all set! I love the connectivity of this, the smart thing app was a breeze to set up with a walkthrough of each setup of the process. The App has all of the features as at the standard control panel but it is a lot better because you have more space to read and toggle all our options. It show real time updates like how much laundry is remaining. Once it is done, it does give you a notification alert. I like the app over the control panel because you get select options like preventing winkles and so on, where as on the control panel it is probably nested somewhere. Coming to the washing machine itself it is quite good, it has all the great AI features, which it initially tests with a small load of water and adjusts accordingly for the wash cycle. My washing machine is about five years old and over that I see a notable difference in the washing quality. Whenever I use soft fabrics, my old machine would wash it too much giving kind of faded color, the samsung machine is great as it able to recognize it and adjust accordingly. It made my life so much easier as I don’t have to change the setting every time, I could just select Normal wash and the washing machine would handle the rest. Although, I didn’t test it enough, I feel like the washing machine has been using significantly less water. My only pet-peeve is I wish they made the control panel a little bigger as the current one has enough space for two line of text, so there isn’t a lot of information that could be fit in it. But the smart things app more than makes up for it. I also love the integration with other smart things, like it shows the wash time left on my fridge. Overall, I have been very pleased with washing machine and it is a good upgrade to anyone looking to use a smart and connected washing machine.
Learning curve
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm impressed with the cleaning capabilities of this washer - it pulls out way more dirt than my old one! The dryer works well but I wish it was a little easier to adjust drying time. The settings are not very intuitive, but I guess I'll get used to it. I also wish there was some kind of manual override. Everything is digital/touch activated and I'm worried that these appliances will have a shorter life because they're unusable if wanting happens to the screen.
Simple to operate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how easy the Samsung Washer and Dryer is so easy to operate. The interior of the washer and dryer is pretty big which I like. The capacity of the washer is 4.6 cu. ft. with Steam Wash included and the dryer has a capacity of 7.6 cu. ft. which is plenty large enough even for bedding. I haven't used the steam wash yet, but I have had the opportunity to use my phone to start the washer and dryer after it's been turned on. All I had to do was add my washer and dryer to the Samsung SmartThings app by connecting the wifi which is conveniently located on the front of the product. I also like that all I have to do is turn the AI Smart Dial to select my washer and dryer settings. I can even turn on the drum light that stays on for a couple of minutes. The only thing I don't like is the normal setting does not have enough water for me, but when I used the heavy duty setting with some adjustments for temperature and soil level, then I'm able to get more water. For instance, the normal setting cycle is 45 minutes compared to the heavy duty cycle which is 1 hour and 59 minutes. Yes, it's a lot longer which I don't like, but with some adjustments I'm able to cut the time down to 1 hour and 43 minutes. It's still too long compared to the normal cycle, but if I want more water then so far that's one of the options I having to choose. I wish there was a better way. Even though this machine does not have the vibration reduction technology, it performs well without shaking. It's a very nice looking machine. I've always wanted a stacked dryer and washer.
Dumb AI
This dryer has a major AI flaw. It's default "eco"setting not drying AT ALL. It took me quite a while to figure out why after a full hour on maximum heat laundry is as damp as when was just removed from the washing machine. When paused in the middle of the cycle, turns out there us no heat. Clothes just spinning in the cold dryer. Sorry but running 3hr dry cycle for a single load of laundry IS NOT saving any energy and is only causing frustration. Worst of all, eco AI cannot be permanently disabled and needs to be manually turned off every single time (otherwise drying is only a waste of time and resources).
Hi Anamir, It must be incredibly frustrating to deal with a dryer that isn’t performing as expected, especially when the "eco" setting ends up making things more time-consuming and inefficient. Your feedback allows us to remain committed to constant innovation while we improve the functionality of our product line. Rest assured I will provide your feedback to our product team for current and future product development. In the interim, we recommend turning the Eco Dry off before starting a dryer cycle in Normal mode and Time Dry mode or creating a personal dryer cycle with the Eco Dry permanently off. To create a personal cycle list, please turn to page 69 of this model's user manual link for the steps. https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202401/20240103172742572/OID73951_IB_H100D-MD_SimpleUX_EN_CFR_MES_240103.pdf Should you need more assistance, please feel free to get back to us via the following options: 1.
