I installed this microwave in February, a couple of weeks into using it, I tried to defrost frozen veggies that I had going in the microwave for 5 minutes, while cooking (with hood on) and it shut off halfway through. It wasn't my breaker or my power, it was a pattern. Every time i used it to warm something longer than 3 minutes even without using the hood it would shut off. I'd have to troubleshoot (unplug it) for a few minutes to get it working again. So I avoided running it for long periods (3 minutes or more). Now (May) it doesn't warm my food! I put my food in, put it in for 2 minutes, it spins and makes noise and has a light on and seems to be working but my food remains cold. I checked all the possible issues and the only way to fix it it seems is to either get it replaced or get a repair 3 months into using it. I am frustrated i have a brand new kitchen but this faulty appliance that seems to have every unnecessary feature (can connect to wifi for some reason??) BUT warming my food as a microwave!

I installed it myself with the help of a neighbor because it was installed in a tight space and heavy. We are very pleased with its performance and its a beautiful unit that matches our Samsung natural gas oven/range. I would highly recommend you investigate this particular unit as a replacement because I think you would be very happy with it. The Wi-Fi notification on any in-house internet/Smart TV device is a nice feature.

I was debating whether I should give up the over the hood design, but we live in a condo and can't really have a full exhaust with vent, so this was the next best thing. The door is kind of bulky which makes it stick out a little more that the cabinets.

Still dont understand how to select options to reheat specific foods, the menu is there, but everytime i try to input the numbers it doesnt accept. Maybe theyre all under 1 of 3 reheat umbrellas? But overall been a good microwave.

Product will work for about a year and a day, assuming it shows up intact, which mine took 3 tries. Then you have it installed over the stove, as per the design, and the heat and steam from your stove will corrode the keypad, resulting in a large repair bill. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was shopping for new appliances I thought I didn’t care much about the microwave. A microwave is a microwave, right? As long as I can reheat the occasional leftovers and pop some popcorn, who cares about bells and whistles. So I didn’t even necessarily choose this — it just came with the rest of my Samsung appliances. But wow. I didn’t know it was possible for a microwave to intuitively heat leftovers so that the outside and inside of the plate cook at the same pace. This microwave does it with a couple quick auto-setting choices. No guesswork on how many minutes at what power. I don’t think I’ve EVER successfully used the automatic settings successfully in a microwave before now. It’s seriously impressive. I’m also told you can bake a cake in this thing, which I actually believe (though I haven’t tested this claim, because I also got an excellent new Samsung oven). Overall, I’m exceptionally pleased!

It looks very sleek and I appreciate being able to sync it to my phone so that I can turn off the sound on it. I also love that there isn't a handle on the outside of the door (this is what broke on our previous one). The inside is pretty large and is easy to keep clean, especially because the interior is a dark blue so it doesn't show food splatter quite as easily. Definitely recommend if you want a microwave that works well, but also looks super nice!

After researching all the different sizes, models, and prices I settled on this one! The ease of usage and the sleek modern design are positives. Everyone that comes into my home loves it! The addition of this model supersedes the previous model bought less than a year ago. I am grateful that the handle broke!

The Microwave has sensor cook that cooks a plate of food even with different size items to the perfect temperature by using the ability to sense the steam/humidity of the food and the temperature cooks to the perfect temp Everytime with the push of a button. It also alerts your phone and smart hub screens when food is done or the timer goes off. You can verbally communicate through Bixby or your smart hubs to keep food warm or add more time if needed. Great purchase with zero cons or regrets. Absolutely love this microwave and Samsung.
