[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ninja Outdoor Grill and Smoker ProConnect XL is impressive just out of the box! The thick gauge metal and solid construction is obvious. I only used the grill function to make some burgers – tasted awesome! – but this guy also can smoke, roast, bake, and broil. It has 2 thermometers so you can temp monitor 2 separate items; of course it links to your smart phone for alerts and you can have it shut down automatically when a certain temp is achieved. It's very easy to use as the controls are intuitive. There is also a grease management system that is easy to use and clean which is great for foods that have a higher fat content. I can't wait to use the smoker function and slow cook some ribs or pork butt. It's convenient, mobile for going to the park or a friend's house, and with the Bluetooth connection you're not tethered to it while it's cooking. I would highly recommend the Ninja Outdoor Grill and Smoker ProConnect XL. It's a very versatile and user friendly piece of cooking equipment and it has a permanent home in my kitchen!

I bought this for my husband and he loves using it & I love the taste & speed of cooking. The smoke gets into the food so good. We had recently bought a pit boss grill and he said if he had tried this grill first, we would not have gotten the pit boss? This Ninja grill will be replacing our camper grill for sure,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Ninja as a gift and it has quickly become our go to grill because of the flexibility, ease-of-use, and it's easy to move in and out of the garage on our wheeled table. The size is perfect for just me and my wife, but also offers room for additional food when we have company. I have used it mostly for quick cooking - steaks, smoked chicken, seafood as the pellet life isn't as long at my larger PitBoss, but for searing steaks and a good smoked chicken, I find it is ideal. I also like it more than my Traeger Scout which is roughly the same size as controlling the temperature is much easier and more reliable, and it's flexibility. The flexibility of multiple cooking functions is really a bonus. The ability to air fry, bake banana bread, and broil have helped replace use of our oven in the house, especially in this hot Texas summer. I look forward to trying the dehydrate function this fall. We also really enjoyed it for wood fired pizza. We had to use a smaller pizza stone which is ideal for the two of us, but when we had family and wanted a larger pizza we had to use the oven in the house. The only downsize of the Ninja is the cooking space as you can't quite get a full rack of ribs on it and as I mentioned large pizza won't fit, but for compact space and 2-4 people it is a winner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally had a chance to use this with a number of guests that came over and it did not disappoint! We ended up making six NY Strips on the grill. After reading the instructions and watching a couple videos we plugged in the temp probes and started the smoke. A great feature is the app and the probes notifying you when you've hit temp and when to pull them off for rest. After I hit temp and pulled them off we let them rest and then I turned the grill over to Grill mode. Once I hit grill mode I put a sear on both sides for about 60 seconds to lock in flavor! The finished product was a half dozen amazing steaks with a great smokey flavor that you could taste through the entire cut. I absolutely love this grill and can't wait to try it on other types of meats!

You can smoke it or you don't have to. It actually cut the cook time down a bit too. Doesn't dry it the meat either. I absolutely love it.

The instructions were easy to follow and breaks everything down for you. It comes with 2 starter bags of pellets to try. The grill allows you to hook it up to your phone so you can get notifications on how much longer so you don't have to stand there the whole time. When you use the thermometer it will shut off when it has reached the correct internal temperature. You can have the option to wood fire or not. The grill has so many option for cooking. You can roast, grill, smoke, bake just to name a few. I used it to cook a pork tenderloin and it came out perfectly! The smoke flavor was subtle but delicious. If you are new to grilling or tired of waiting around, this grill is a must. Saves time and makes delicious food!

You can even name your grill, and I named mine The Cheetah because it feels like cheating it's so easy. And you can monitor the temp and cook settings while you're away from home. The pellets add a nice little bit of smoke, but definitely not as much as if you slow smoked something all day. Overall though, I was impressed with how good the food tasted while still being that convenient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ninja has done it again. This grill is fantastic. It truly tastes like it has been cooked over a Wood fired grill, although it uses pellets. Easy to clean, easy to use, the directions are really simple and it has all kinds of little bonuses. We have cooked vegetables, ribs, burgers, I've even smoked a peach pie on it. We cook for a family of four and there is more than enough space. Comes with 2 lbs of pellets. Do be sure to read the directions first to make the most use out of the wood fire. Would make a great gift as a housewarming or wedding gift.
