Important to vacuum well the area to be cleaned, esp. with 3 cats to prevent picking up more hair than water. as far as leaking water, follow the instructions and you should not have a problem.

My senior dog has many accidents and it's Bissell to the rescue. Simple to use and stores nicely.The price point was reasonable for such a remarkable carpet cleaner. With the deep clean setting it seems to really pull stuff out of the carpet. Makes the carpet smell good after using it. The express clean does a good job at cleaning minor accidents from the dogs. Plus the dry time with using the express clean is very quick, which is very nice. It's a good product at a budget price.

With it being rainy season and having two large dogs, they are constantly tracking in dirt/mud on the rugs.
