This cleaner was extremely easy to assemble, all you have to do is attach the handle to the body. It is also very easy to use the machine. There are two modes to choose from, deep clean and express clean, you just slide a switch on the side to decide which mode you want. Depending on the mode, there are clear markings on the clean water reservoir about how much soap and water you add. Then you power it on and go to work! When it came time to clean the machine after I was done, it was sooo easy! It took me maybe 20mins. I really liked that the front panel comes off where the water is sucked up, so you can rinse it out and remove any trapped hair. Also this allows you to rinse and clean the bristles on the bottom. The difference between Express clean and Deep clean: I admit, I was skeptical about the express mode at first, but ended up loving it! The express mode uses less solution, so your carpets aren't soaked and they will dry faster. On about one tank, I was able to clean 4 rooms, and each room dried in about 30mins after I cleaned it. This feature would work best for freshening up the carpets between deep cleans, but it does still remove a lot of dirt and stains. The dirty water reservoir proved that to me! The deep clean mode uses a full tank of solution. I was able to do about 2 rooms with one tank of solution. The deep clean picked up a lot of dirt and also improved the appearance and smell of an area that has been repeatedly soiled by two senior dogs. In addition, quite a bit of imbedded pet hair was removed by the bristles. Even on deep clean my carpet dried pretty quickly. It took about 45mins to an 1hr for the carpet to feel almost completely dry. Overall, I would recommend this carpet cleaner to anyone with kiddos and/or pets. It worked well to remove stains, and I am very happy with the results of its cleaning power. Up until recently I had always treated carpet stains with some pet-grade spray and thought that was good enough. Holy cow I had no idea how gross my carpets were until I used this! It really went in and brought up layers and layers of staining I didn't even know were there and I love it! I have two dogs, a toddler and an infant and mostly carpet in my home. There is ALWAYS something to clean and often I have to do it quickly and with one arm (baby in the other). The tough stain tool was perfect for this. It is probably my favorite feature as often times I just need to take care of a localized mess and not deep clean the whole area. (Express mode is also great for this!) I only wish it had an internal heating mechanism to keep water hot, but I'm pretty sure omitting it has made it light weight and easy to maneuver so that's a win in my book. I received this product as partners of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I am so glad that I did! It's absolutely wonderful.

I was lucky to receive the Bissell TurboClean DualPro Pet Carpet cleaner from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was so excited to try it out, because I've literally never cleaned my carpets. I have several area rugs in our home, as it is all hard wood flooring and I needed to have a few set up in bedrooms and in our living room. I tested this out on a low pile carpet and a high pile carpet, and wow - my carpets were filthy! This machine was able to really get into the fibers and work out the nasties left by our 11 year old dog, and 2 year old son! (see photo of post-cleaning nasties!) The hose and tough stain attachment worked pretty well for our living room couches as well. I liked how simple the cleaner was to assemble, and all instructions were really easy to follow with the exception of one detail: I was confused on whether I needed to push the button for cleaner release the entire time I was making the cleaning passes, or just press the button once and *THEN* do the cleaning passes. If the manufacturer could make that clearer, I would be very delighted. After cleaning is completed, I loved the fact that I could dump out the dirtied water right into my sink, rinse all the parts with clean water, let them air dry on the counter top, and then put it all back together with no problems for storage. One feature I would add to this is a better way to see the tank is full from the angle you are using it. You have to bend down to the tank to see that the dirty water has hit its "full" line. When the vacuum just sort of stops working as well, it's not super intuitive. I would appreciate a better indication of that! Finally, I wish that the foot had a smaller surface area as it is difficult to store it in our small apartment. Other than that, this is a fantastic addition to our household and will be a frequently used cleaner in the years to come!!

I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I think I received a defective product, because it did not work properly. The cleaning solution/water did not come out of the machine very well and not much dirt was lifted into the dirty tank. Also, I think it would be better if the water and cleaning solution had separate compartments in the tank. It did move around okay and was easy enough to maneuver, but it just did not work great. The carpets were barely wet after using it. This is not the norm for Bissell products so I do think that the product I received was defective. I would recommend trying this product and if you experience the same, return it.

I recently had the opportunity to conduct an in-home test of this product thanks to the team at the Stellar Product Testing Panel to see how it works in real world conditions. It's a solid carpet cleaner considering it's intended purpose (consumer grade home use) but the stains that other cleaners have left behind are still present-this did a solid job (as proved by the filthy water in the tank lost-cleaning!) but didn't blow me away like the occasional professional steaming does. Where I think this product fills a niche is with the express mode and the hose tool. Express mode is outstanding to clean up after a small toddler spill or pet stain without having to avoid a wet area for 24 hours or more like other cleaners. I also found the hose to be a great tool in an automotive application. I have yet to use any other consumer cleaning tool with that versatility. All in all, it's an easy to use, easy to handle cleaner that can handle most jobs you'll ask of it. For the price it's worth checking out.

This deep clean carpet cleaner is not only easy to use, but it cleans beautifully. I love that it has 2 modes so if I need to do a quick clean I have that option as well as a deep clean. The 2 separate ta ks are really nice and hold more than my other cleaner has so I don't have to dump and refill as often. The long hose is such a nice feature because I dont have to pull the thing across the floor or down the steps. It is lighter and easier to maneuver, and it is really easy to assemble and clean. The tough stain tool is nice but isn't as ergonomic as it could be. My favorite feature would be the two tanks ao I dont worry about spilling dirty water all over the place when they need switched out. Assembly was very easy and straightforward (the best kind) and took no time at all. From unboxing to functional was maybe 10 minutes and that was with two toddlers constantly demanding my attention. The clear instructions made this entirely possible. Cleaning the machine after use was also very straight forward and they supply a handy hair-removing tool which was ah-mazing. I love that there are two modes available: deep clean and express clean, and enjoyed them both for separate reasons. I personally would use deep clean for all initial cleaning and problematic spots. I had the best visible results of SO much grime in the dirty tank after using deep clean mode and the carpet not only looked but smelled amazing afterwards. It took about 4 hours for my carpet to totally dry after deep cleaning. Express clean also did a good job and dried within an hour, which is a huge bonus when you are trying to beat the clock. I didn't notice quite as much grime coming out on express clean vs. deep clean, but it was still noticeably cleaner. The hand-held tool was a wonder to use and made those tough corners so much easier to reach instead of calling them a lose (as I usually did with other cleaners because the hand-held tool never wanted to work!). The only improvements I would suggest is the clean water tank doesn't feel the most secure when attaching it onto the machine. This never inhibited the cleaner's performance of of this amazing carpet cleaner! I have two *extremely* messy toddlers, a large dog, and a mechanic husband who never takes off his shoes and this machine did a beautiful job fulfilling it's promise of a clean carpet! I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This carpet cleaner is amazing. I live on a ranch and have 4 dogs plus children. Needless to say, our house has a lot of dirt and hair! It got old stains out that I never thought would come out. I tried all of the modes and tools and they all worked great. The deep clean mode was amazing and brought new life to my carpets. The express clean is nice for quick refresher in between deep cleans. Assembly and taking apart for cleaning were a breeze. Overall, I am so happy to have this product. I was amazed how much dirt was hiding in my carpets even after vacuuming! I will continue to use this to keep my home clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the hand held on my couch for about 10 minutes. When I was unsung it was great. Got the spill out. I turned it off to dump the bottom part and now the handle no longer sprays. Just a single small stream of water comes out. Very disappointed

I received the Turboclean Dualpro Pet from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. It was quick and easy to assemble with crystal clear instructions and a quick start guide attached to the handle. I loved the quick start guide and referred to it frequently the first few times I used the carpet cleaner. I opted to first test the express clean mode in part because it required less formula and also because the instructions said the carpet would dry faster after the clean. As instructed, I turned it on, primed the spray, and began making passes back and forth on the carpet. It was simple and easy to maneuver and extremely gratifying to see the dirty water being sucked into the machine as I used it. It quickly cleaned a rather larger sized media room in ten minutes and when I checked back about 30 minutes later the carpet was almost dry! After using the carpet cleaner, clean up is a little annoying, but I am sure with time I will get quicker and more efficient with it. The one thing I haven't figured out is how to prevent it from leaking after using it. Every time I went to carry the carpet cleaner back upstairs after use, it dripped the entire way. I tested out the tough stain tool which has great reach due to its long hose. This will definitely come in handy for hard to reach spots and when I need to clean upholstery. A few suggestions, a longer retractable cord would be great and a tray to store the carpet cleaner on when not in use. Thanks for the opportunity to test it!
