not worth the $
I bought 6 sets in May of 2018 and they never worked great but I kept them up and kept fighting with them. Says you can link strands together but when we did this they never worked in sync. One set would change color and the other set would not so I always just left them white. Paid extra for the color changing so that was definitely not worth it. Finally took them down this past summer 2020 as some of the sets were not working at all. $80 lights should last for more than 2 summers. I spent over $500 to have these lights and three sets are going in the trash. Big bummer.

Lights not responding to remote
I bought these lights in the spring of 2018. I have enjoyed them but recently the control will not turn the lights off and on. When I try to change the colors it just runs through all the color options and ends back on the last one used. Can anyone help me? I love my lights and changing the colors for each season. Thank you! Outstanding lights
We purchased 7 strings of these lights two years ago when I returned from Afghanistan to brighten up our home and pool area. The color change option allows for different seasons and all of our neighbors comment how beautiful they are. Unfortunately, one of our strings went out today and luckily had one more box left and need to order more. I thought they would last longer, but still love the look.
Look great but stopped working
I have had these for a few months now. They worked great at first and then they just stopped working. The remote doesn’t turn them on anymore. Periodically they will turn on, but lately it’s rare. I am a technical person by profession, so I have tried all of the normal troubleshooting options I could think of with the batteries, remote, outlet, breaker, and so on. Nothing is working. These are too expensive to break within months. Ours are in our screened and covered patio, very well protected, and there isn’t any reasonable explanation for these lights to not work anymore.

Pergola lights, bought twice, Stopped working
First set I bot with warranty fortunately, was in Oct 2017, hung on pergola and rarely used. Stopped working in Aug 2018. Returned for full exchange. Received another New case again with warranty. This time lasted 2 months. Says for outdoor use but it rains a lot in florida. I suspect they are not waterproof. Only plausible explanation since were hung and never moved; plugged in GFCI outlet as recommended. Worthless.

Great until they wont turn on.
We bought 3 sets of these lights to put around our pool. They worked great and my wife liked that you could change colors i.e. red, white and blue on Fourth of July. We went out the other day after opening the pool and one of the sets will not turn on. This would be easy to handle if not for the fact this is only the beginning of the third season with them. We do like them it’s just disheartening for them to stop working after such a short time.
Elated and then Disappointed
I bought 8 sets total. One (1) placed on gazebo and five (5) linked down the fence. All six (6) worked well with one remote for two evenings. Today one of the strands linked together on the fence quit responding to the remote to turn off or color change. I've tried unplugging all, in an attempt to reset. No luck, one set will not respond to the remote and stays in it's own little world flashing colors. All other sets in the link can turn off and this set just keeps flashing. Is there a simple fix or have I gotten a faulty set of lights. I am reluctant to get the eighth (8th) set out of the box, that's a lot of money invested to not last any longer than 2 days.. Lights look great until they quit working
I bought 2 strands of these as a Father's Day present last June. Went to turn them on when good weather rolled around and one of the strands no longer works after a year. I can't find where there is a fuse or anything to replace and Sam's Club no longer has any more in stock, so I'm stuck with one set of lights that works connected to one strand that doesn't.

Were great... until they malfunctioned
I purchased 2 sets of these lights in July of 2019. Just this month one string started to malfunction, change colors rapidly, not respond to the remotes (even with new batteries and unplugging the lights in hope to reset). Within the week the second set of lights did the same. They will not stay on the setting I choose which is normally just white light unless I want to match a holiday, will not turn off or on with the remote, They just rapidly flash colors, turn off and on by themselves, and do not respond to their remotes.
Nice lights but suddenly stopped working
I’ve had these lights for a few months now. They were working great until one day they just stopped working. The lights blink through all the colors on their own. The remote doesn’t work so I can’t change the color of the lights or turn them off unless I unplug them.
