Quality has gone down

The quality of the cut at the Sacramento, CA store has gone down. They leave a huge lip of fat at the ends to make the weight of the meat go up. So you're pretty much paying for excess fat that will have to be cut off at home. It's a sad thing that they already raise the prices, but doing this as well is a shame. Other than that the meat is still good. Please have your meat department take care of this issue!!!

bone flakes

I normally love these, I marinate them in teriyaki and either grill or broil them. But whoever they are cutting them it’s leaving all little bone particles which kinda hurt when you bit into them. Maybe try rinsing them off first? Idk how that would taste but yes look out for that.

Disappointed!

I was excited to see they had these short ribs but was very disappointed in this purchase. I spent a small fortune on these and they were very fatty and greasy. The meat was tender when cooked but tasted greasy. Will not buy again. These are no match for what I buy at Giant Eagle supermarket.

Bottom layers of ribs sometimes not same quality

Only 3 stars as some of the other reviewers have noted, the top layers of ribs are large and nicely marbled. However, sometimes the bottom layers are smaller, thinner and/or have more bone or fat than meat when purchased from the same Sam's store (Avondale, AZ). This condition isn't always the case, so it probably depends on the butcher who is packaging them. When this happens, we take the skimpy ribs and return them to the store for a refund which Sam's honors. But it's a PITB for a return that doesn't need to happen if Sam's hired decent butchers. If the rib layers were consistently of the same quality, then they'd get a full 5 stars every time because the quality of the meat is very good. I would not find this surprising if I purchased the ribs from a 'mom and pop' Asian grocery store since I'll have no recourse. However, this is completely unacceptable for Sam's who is known for high quality products and goods.

Angus Beef Short Ribs

These were good, but I wouldn't have minded a little more meatier ones. A bit too much fat was given.

Good meat but beware of how they trick you

Love them but I can justify to pay $10/ pound of beed which have more bone than meat and they purposely hid the bone too. I feel tricked
