I don't know why everyone is complaining. The packaging is just the jacket, people, it's not like you're eating the jacket. The chicken is decent sized, about the size of a fist. They're juicy and with a bit of Dano's it's perfection in the air fryer. The best part of it, ITS AFFORDABLE! Good quality. Will purchase again. No antibiotics, all natural, no GMO.

I bought these thighs for the first time a few weeks ago. No complaints at all except I have to rave about how much I like the way the thighs were packaged. I usually buy chicken thighs when they're on sale at the grocery store and I have to repackage them to freeze. These came with 3 pieces in each "pouch" which is a fantastic portion for my family. I didn't experience pin feathers as the previous reviewer complained about. Chicken is a staple item and we go through it quickly, so there's no need for me to repackage these chicken thighs into vacuum sealed bags when I throw them in the freezer. The price per pound is fair and allows me to buy some at Sam's in between waiting for better prices at local grocery stores when they finally put thighs on sale.

After purchase we opend two packages for a meal. The chicken was OK but not the prettiest. The skin was pushed to the side on each piece. We were able to cover the thigh with what was there but it took some doing. More importantly, one pack had two pieces and the other had three, and the sizes were all different. You can not see into the pack so you don't know how many thighs you get in each pack or what size they are. The packs are very convenient to freeze but if you want to defrost for a meal you don't know how many you will have in each pack. The chicken itself was wonderful.

As soon as I got home I BBQ these Chicken Thighs up so I could create Pulled Chicken. The flavor is great and the thighs were fresh. I like to use Thighs for BBQ because with the texture they BBQ up great. I like to Create BBW Pulled Chicken for the upcoming Lunches and Dinners that I do. I would recommend these for BBQ.

I was really very happy with the quality. In the past when I have purchased the Members Mark fresh packaged chicken parts I have noticed an off putting odor. This chicken had no such offensive odor to it. The chicken was clean and had very good flavor to it. We just used simple seasoning so we could make an objective decision on whether we would continue to purchase this in the future. I'm happy to say we will not be searching for sales on chicken thighs anymore and stocking up when we do, we can just go to Sam's and buy them whenever we want.

The way that the pieces were butchered was terrible, there were a lot of bone fragments, the main bone was cut in half/smashed. I don't know if this was done by someone training, but the pieces were not cut as they should have been for thigh pieces. Very strange and hard to eat without getting small bone fragments. Taste was fine, but the bone fragments were totally unacceptable.

I agree with others review of the thighs regarding the butchering. While thighs themselves were fine, there seemed to be other parts of the chicken in the package as well. I liked the packaging, you could see the thighs and they were packed 2-3 in individual packages, which makes it great for freezer and then just thawing out what you need.

Pretty good but really miss boneless, skinless IQF Thighs
