THE CHICKEN WAS GOOD. LOVE US SOME GOOD GRILLED CHICKEN THIGHS.  THE ONLY ISSUE IS THE VERY RANDOM SIZED PIECES IN THE PACKAGES. A COUPLE HAD NICE BIG PIECES, BUT OTHER PACKAGES, THE SIZES WERE ALL OVER THE PLACE.  A LITTLE HARD TO PLAN MEALS IF YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT SIZES THE PIECES WILL BE INSIDE.

PICK A SIZE

There's always extra skin attached to these thighs. From what I can tell, it's a skin from the back. It does not belong! By the time I trim it off, I'm losing a pound from the package.

Chicken back skin?

I dislike the packaging a great deal. I like the old trays, where I could see the size of each piece of chicken, & the sizes didn't vary that much. The pieces in the pouch packaging vary in size too much, making portions unequal.

Unequal portions

I was disappointed with the quality of the chicken and unequal packaging, there was one bag that had 1 thigh and a slice of chicken with vertebrae bones, the second bag had 2 very skin heavy thighs, the last 2 had 3 thighs each. Side note, it’s easier to plan meals around a consistent package size.

Chicken thighs

I prefer the chicken trays over the prepacked pouches of chicken. It’s hard to tell how many pieces of chicken are in the pouches. With the chicken trays you can see the # and size of the pieces and package into serving sizes that make sense for your family.

Prefer the chicken trays over the pouches

Have bought these before and enjoyed them.  However, this time they varied greatly in size with some of them being VERY small.  I had to trim them an excessive amount due to the large amount of fat and hanging skin on them as well.  Several were completely bare with no skin at all.  We wanted them with skin as we were grilling them.  Very disappointed!

Not like they used to be

Mostly very small thighs, about half of them had the skin completely detached, and the rest had it barely attached. I had to re-form each thigh and attach the skin with toothpicks. There were also several half-thighs, some with splintery bone edges. Not safe. Will not be buying again until they go back to the old version.

Agreed - Horrible Quality Control

The thighs are inconsistent in size, appear to be beat and broken.  The packaging hide the the condition of the product.  If theses were in the traditional foam pack trays they would not sell.

The Beat Their Bird!

You have four individual packages in one.  Each package contain three or four chicken thighs You have no idea how many is there.  The original flat pack I only had to open one package deal with fighting to get a knife through that thick plastic in order to repackage.  With this package now I have to fight with four individual packages to open to repackage to appropriate portions.  There was no need changing from the flat pack it serves no purpose to the user because again you have no idea what you're getting could be three could be four how do you plan around that without having to repackage and again open the four packages instead of a single flat pack.  Some of your packaging decisions simply don't make sense.

Packaging user friendly

I was really disappointed with these. The quality of these chicken thighs were not worth what I paid for. I think I paid for the packaging. Chicken were small maybe 1 or 2 were okay but not worth it. I miss the old chicken trays that were sold before, where you could seeing what you were buying.

Disappointed with Chicken Thighs

These are an awesome buy. Four individual vac sealed packets that contain on average four thighs per individual packet. If I don’t use them I like to unfold the packets flat and freeze. It makes it easy for me to choose to make a few or a whole bunch. Thighs themselves are big and meaty. We love them on the grill
