I prefer the chicken trays over the prepacked pouches of chicken. It’s hard to tell how many pieces of chicken are in the pouches. With the chicken trays you can see the # and size of the pieces and package into serving sizes that make sense for your family.

New packaging is clean and easy to store. Condition of chicken thighs in package, unfortunately, needs improvement. Worst thing is that small pieces of bone with flesh attached are included in about 1/3 of packages. What am I supposed to do with this? Throwing bits of waste chicken in the package to fill it is unacceptable. Maybe sell the mistakes in different packaging at a lower price for use in maybe soup or something. I buy chicken thighs with skin on because I am planning to make them WITH skin attached. Broil, them perhaps. Brown the skin for using thighs in a recipe. What is mostly in the packages is chicken thighs with skin included. Somewhere. Not useful. I don't know if humans package these or totally done by machine. This packaging technique is new. The butchers are probably still working out the kinks in the system. Overall, I like this packaging. It's neat, clean, easy to store in my freezer. Oh, and the glue! The glue holding the packages together is horrible but I've found a way around the problem - I cut the packages apart with kitchen shears. When I want to use the chicken, I cut the individual package open with the shears. Very easy. The quality and price of the chicken is good, otherwise.

I bought these a couple of times and like other reviews I am dismayed at the random cuts of the thighs. Some are very small and other pieces are mostly skin. Because I'm used to buying quality food at Sam's and there is no uniformity in size and weight of these chicken thighs, I won't be purchasing these again.

Good portion packets for single person or small family. I like that its 4 portion packs for the price

There's always extra skin attached to these thighs. From what I can tell, it's a skin from the back. It does not belong! By the time I trim it off, I'm losing a pound from the package.

I do not like the new chicken thighs at all. They come 3 in a pack and at least one piece is always weird shaped. Also they have a lot of feathers stoll on them.

Sub standard chicken. All thighs are different sizes. Makes it hard to cook properly. Not the quality of Sam’s club chicken we are used to. Package makes it hard to see what you are buying. Go back to the previous pack of chicken you offered.

the packaging in quality is AWFUL!! Please go back to previous vendor/packaging. There is nothing on the package to indicate how many pieces inside, EVERY SINGLE PACKAGE HAD HOLES, the skin was off of every one of the thighs.

The thighs are inconsistent in size, appear to be beat and broken. The packaging hide the the condition of the product. If theses were in the traditional foam pack trays they would not sell.

Terrible product. “Thighs” weren’t even thighs they were just back pieces with the backbone still in. Hiding the random sizing in bags instead of in the tray where you can see what you’re buying. Buyer beware of this awful product.
