These are a staple in our household. Have always enjoyed these chicken thighs.

Got two unknown pieces.

Not sure what is wrong with this batch. I have been buying chicken from SAMS for over a decade. Picked up this batch (along with drumsticks curbside. Every one of the packages ( including the drumsticks) smelled 'off.' Not spoiled. No discoloration. Just smelled very weird. Since I buy it for dogs/cats, they didn't care or notice. But man, just opening the packages - what a horrible, weird smell. Will not purchase from SAMS again.

I will never buy my chicken in this packaging from Sam's again. The packaging concept is good, but the chicken pieces in each compartment are not the same. Some have three some have four and the thighs are tiny compared to what you used to offer. Bring back the tray packaging so I can tell what I'm buying.

The thighs in these packs are not very good. The sizes are terribly mismatched...either they are tiny or they are medium size which makes them difficult to bake. One will be overcooked, making it tough. I liked the packaging where you could see what you were buying. The thighs were spread out in two rows. I will not be buying these again.

I don't care for the new packaging, but more than that, I'm dissatisfied with the chicken itself. The last time I purchased it, most of the pieces were very small. I understand having some small pieces, but this time, it was the majority of them. I expect more from Sam's.

The highlights says "consistent thigh size." That is totally incorrect. The thighs I received were all different sizes. The thighs Sam's used to sell with the styrofoam tray were consistently sized, the new packaging (which is awful) the thigh sizes are all over the place and will not cook for the same length of time. Also, under Highlights it states "Perforated, individual pouches allow for just the number of pieces needed". This is also incorrect. Some of the individual pouches contain 3 thighs and some pouches contain 4 thighs. There is no way to know how many pieces are in each pouch until you open them. The old packaging with the styrofoam tray it was easy to see how many thighs were there. If you decide to freeze the pouches, the thighs in each pouch are all smashed together which will take much longer to defrost. Sam's, bring back the chicken thighs in the styrofoam trays!
