It was very efficient in sweeping and gathering dirt and hair that we never even thought was there. It was easy to set up and use, even for someone who is not that tech savvy. The problem was when we began to play hide-and-go-seek with the sweeper brushes that would fall off randomly. That was the only downside.

We've lived with this little bot for a couple of months now. I like the excellent suction power and that it's low profile. I probably won't use the mop feature, ever. You have to place a separate piece on the vacuum to do the mopping, and the reservoir is inside the bot, then empty it, and you have to let it air out each time you use it. At this price, though, who cares. I love that it can go under almost all of our furniture and especially the kitchen counters, which my other 'bots' couldn't do. Mapping feature is great. The app needs work, especially for spot cleaning feature...kind of confusing. This bot gets stuck quite a bit, on clothes, rugs, and things like guitar stands. I wish it was bagless. I hate having to buy replacement parts, and it's environmentally irresponsible, but I didn't pay much for this vacuum, and I'm getting my money's worth. I've definitely paid more for a different brand (600 ), and I returned several. We'll keep Bobsweep until he gives up, and if they can improve their technology, I would buy another one. Oh, and he's a pretty handsome little dude.

Dustin has appealing features of vacuuming & mopping, however the rotating brush attachment kept falling off and the mopping feature is spotty at best. Also the mapping was off & difficult to figure out. I think Dustin needs more technical tweaking to work better and the brush attachment needs to be redesigned as it does not fit snugly enough to stay on. I think Dustin could be a competitive product on the market if these flaws were corrected.

Dustin is great! Still very fascinated with how sophisticated these AI vacuum bots are, especially Dustin. We’ve had it for almost 2 months and couldn’t complain. We don’t really use the mop as we have white marble tiles and rather just mop ourselves.

Pros: - Price (when on sale) - QUANTITY of features considering the price (blows competition away) - Vacuuming is effective and self-emptying feature is convenient and practical (it takes a while to fill up the bag, which means it vacuums several times before the bag needs to be replaced) Cons: - QUALITY of features (tons of features, but not all of them are effective/practical) - Gets stuck quite often (and we don’t have a lot of furniture/obstructions, so it’s very frustrating) - Cleaning pattern/path is confusing and makes us question its effectiveness - After turning it back on when it gets stuck and turns off, it occasionally forgets its location and doesn’t pick up where it left off and doesn’t know how to return to its base, and says it needs to remap (the entire map, not just a portion) - Mopping is subpar (discharges too much fluid and leaves a heavy trail behind it, even when on the light mop setting) - Requires complete refilling of fluid after every mop - Must remove mop attachment for it to vacuum non-mop areas (Very impractical and inconvenient if you have a lot of rugs/carpet on hardwood floor like we do) - Phone app (Bobsweep) doesn’t give notifications (i.e. if it gets stuck, whether cleaning session has started or completed, etc.) and doesn’t have capability of manually controlling (driving) the robot remotely.

I've had this vacuum for about a month & have been very pleased. It's the second robot vacuum I've had it it's a step up from the previous bc of the self-emptying capacity, the mop function & the programmable features. The area it cleans is entirely hard wood, so it's a simple process, but the upgrades have been worth it. The mop feature works great so far.

Don't get your hope up. The mapping is mid. The mop did not work out of the box. I called the manufacturer, they wanted me to mail in in FIRST, then they would send me a replacement. No thanks. I returned it to Sam's and bought a RoboRock. This company is not going to last. Be warned.

We have loved that Dustin joined our family! We have two young kids and a dog, and Dustin helps us keep up so well! We've owned a few robovacs in the past, and Dustin has by far blown the others out of the water. His mapping feature is amazing, and so easy to tell him if you need a specific room cleaned, or a room to avoid. We haven't done the mopping much, but he worked well when we did. The mopping is more like a Swiffer wet pad just moving along the floor, so it's good, but with all our little feet and paws, we tend to do a good deep mopping rather than have him run the mop. We got him on a major sale, but I wouldn't hesitate to invest in him even at full price. He's definitely not made to be a Pet version, as our long haired dog hair (and two girls with long hair on the house), does occasionally get blocked when he tries to self empty, but that isn't a tough fix, and as long as we keep the house picked up and he runs every day, it seems to be less of a problem.

Love it! I am thoroughly impressed. I come home to clean carpet lines everyday. I love that it doesn’t bump from one place to the next haphazardly. It does great transitioning from hard floor to carpet and the map is surprisingly accurate. I’ve divided the rooms up and set up no mop zones so my carpets don’t get mopped when I have the mop on. I’m really impressed. I’ve gone through iRobot and shark robot vacuums and bObsweep has blow them away.

I have a small home on a ranch that collects a lot of dust and pet hair. We have a yellow lab and 2 cats - the fur never stops! My patience with electronic devices is very low, but I decided I would try this vac just to say I did. My expectations were LOW. I finally got it out of the box and was surprised at how easy the set-up was. As instructed, I let Dustin move about the house to "map" it. He is very quiet and I was impressed at how he gently rounded around obstacles. (In my head- I was picturing this thing clunking and banking into furniture. That wasn't the case at tall). It only took him about 40mins to create a map of the house. I was able to easily navigate the app, customize the map, and set a cleaning schedule. I have to say I LOVE this vacuum. It has no problem with pet hair (and we have a lot of pet hair!). So far this has been a life changing purchase for me. I have not physically vacuumed in over a week and my floors look great. This is a great product!
