We have tried several different brands of automated vacuum, so our expectations were mixed when we purchased the Dustin Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum. I'm happy to say that this vacuum has performed far better than expectations. First off, there is no comparison for how this vacuum maps out the house and how our previous vacuums worked. All of our past vacuums have clumsily rammed into furniture repeatedly before changing directions and they never seemed to cover the areas consistently. What we've noticed with Dustin is that after its first full run of our home, it had developed a very accurate floor plan of our house in the app. After that you are able to divide that map up into rooms and label them (if you want), and you can then start to develop a schedule for Dustin to vacuum parts of the home you want on different days of the week, or the whole home. The app is very user friendly and allows you to set up just about any routine that you would want. A lot of the reviews that I read talked about the brush coming off of Dustin. I have had this happen twice, but in both cases we found that Dustin had been tangled in a table lamp's cord and the brush popped off. The brush snapped right back into place and had no issues. After noticing this, I went into the app and made the area by the table lamps an area to skip during vacuuming and haven't had the issue happen again. I've noticed also that Dustin does a very good job of knowing when its power is low and starts going back to the charging station. My previous vacuums would pretty consistently just be found randomly in the house with no power. The self emptying feature is a nice add, since you really do not have anything to worry about with Dustin, it goes back to its charging station and empties its contents into the base unit, which does make a pretty loud vacuum sound, but it lasts for about 10 seconds and then its over. Overall we are very pleased with Dustin. I have not attempted using the mopping feature of this unit. From the look of it, it just has a microfiber cloth that attaches underneath and then you fill a small reservoir with water that it puts onto the surface. In the app, it has a pretty easy to follow menu that allows you set up different areas to mop and not mop.

The robot is good at vacuuming but the mopping part is a problem. I won't say that's not mopping well, it does. I think the Problem with the mopping is the app. When you setup the no mopping areas, the robot gets confused. So I kind of disappointed as that was the main reason I bought it

Through the years I’ve had three robot vacuums. This is my favorite by far. It’s very quiet compared to the two Roombas I’ve had. It navigates around things rather than bumping into them. I wish that the water reservoir could be opened and totally dried out after mopping. It is difficult to ensure that it is totally dry inside when only a small flap can be opened. I have a mixture of tile and laminate flooring and I love that I can set no mop zones to keep water off the laminate. I definitely recommend this little robotic vacuum/mop because it surpassed my expectations.

I don't know why I didn't get one of these years ago. I have a family daycare home and I had doubts this little machine could handle the crazy messes the children leave. Boy was I wrong! I have a new routine every night after the children leave. I start dinner and Dustin, The Wonder Bot!, vacuums the house for me. It feels like such a luxury. It mapped out my house, furniture, etc. on it's first go around. It has literally added hours of time to my life each week because I am not spending those hours vacuuming. I reccommend this machine very highly.

Not impressed. I’ve had it for a year or more. After a year battery doesn’t last the same. It skips rooms. Its suction is not the best. The mop feature leaves streaked on my tile. It Gets stuck in a few places since it not a think robot. I kept it so I wouldn’t have to return it but I don’t love it and wouldn’t recomendar it. It has more negatives than positives for me.

This is my third Bob sweep and this one is more advanced than any of the rest I love that it vacuums to empty out the dirt it does a great job it did a terrific job mapping the whole living room dining room kitchen area and I have it scheduled to run every single day twice a day and then it cleans out the dirt and I fill it with mop water and the rag and just let it I have to add that every other day

We are enjoying having a robotic vacuum for the first time. Our Dustin is doing a good job helping us keep our floors clean, and it is fun to see it work while we are doing other tasks. This allows us to vacuum almost daily, which is wonderful. I had to divide our home into sections and tell it to only clean certain areas at a time because the on-board bin gets too full, and usually I have to clean the brush and manually remove some of the debris from the on-board bin after each cleaning. Overall, it would be nice if these drawbacks were improved, but we are happy with what it does do well.

Dustin works well, software is easy to use and setup was a breeze. Only issue I’ve had is the sweeper brush gets knocked off occasionally. Also the noise level is very low you can be working or watching TV and you’ll not be distracted. A friend has another very popular brand and it’s very noisy. As for sweep up it does well on sweep up dust. I have not yet tried the mop function.

The set-up and instructions were straightforward, and we were able to put our newest member of the family to work almost immediately. We have a lot of wood floors, so this has been a great addition and definitely a time saver for routine vacuuming and mopping, but it does not take the place of the periodical deep cleaning the old-fashioned way. We are definitely satisfied this far and will have to see how durable this product is over time since we have only had it a little over a month or so...but thumbs up thus far!
