[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so ecstatic to receive this mattress for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I have always struggled to find a comfortable mattress as a side and stomach sleeper who has back and hip issues. With my previous mattress, I would wake up each morning with aches and pains, particularly in my lower back and hips. I have slept on this Tempur-Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid for several nights now and I have been shocked by how refreshed I have been feeling in the morning. My back is feeling much better throughout the day and I've not had to take any pain relief medication since switching to this mattress. I really like the combination of both coils and the TEMPUR material. I feel like it really does adapt to my body to relieve pressure in all the right places to help alleviate that pain I was feeling. I also have noticed that I don't get as hot at night, which I think is due to the "cooling technology" in the outer layer (which I have learned is removable and machine washable!!) My husband has also mentioned that my snoring has improved and I'm not tossing and turning all night long like "a fish out of water" in his words. He has loved the improvement in his sleep as well. Overall, I am a huge fan of this mattress and planning to now purchase one for my mother who has similar sleep issues as I suffered from. I will be sure to update my review in a few months and also share my mom's experience.

I panicked when this mattress was delivered because it was SO firm. The first couple of nights were actually uncomfortable but within a couple weeks, it was conforming to my body and I now sleep better than I ever have. It's the perfect balance of support and comfort. I no longer wake up with my body aches and pains.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered king size firm mattress. Very comfortable. Fit perfectly into our Queen Anne bed frame. Correct height, very sturdy frame, and mattress form fits to body. So comfortable. I love the support system too. It is easy to use, and having my back and feet up is a lovely way to start my day with coffee and end my day with a good book.

the frame wiring is tripping out on lights in less than two years. the mattress got a split in it where i sleep, and they won't honor any warranty because there is a stain on the bed (people sleep on it, i have a 1 year old too (am i suppose to put a plastic sheet underneath?... heard they were the best on customer service and satisfaction but they are crap they denied my claim. 6k down the drain in 2 years.

When the mattress was initially delivered, I felt we'd made a mistake going with the firm. The first 2 nights, I tossed and turned while my husband instantly slept better than ever. Over a period of about 2 weeks, the mattress soften just enough to mold to our bodies perfectly. We both love it!

My wife and I had our last Tempur-Pedic mattress for about 20 years, so we were concerned at the change. We went with the Pro-Adapt Firm because it reminded us the most of our previous mattress and are so glad we did. Something about the combination of firmness + the slight give of the Tempur-Pedic material makes for an amazing comfort. We have not had an uncomfortable night's sleep since we got it almost a month ago.

The issue is not with the product. I recently requested an exchange for my newly purchased mattress, to an upgraded more expensive model. Now, keep in mind that it took 32 days to receive my first mattress, including the adjustable bases. (that was also a fight to get) We are coming on 14 days and I still have not received my exchange mattress. I have called more times than I care to mention. Ever time I call, the wait time is awful long. When I finally speak to a "customer" service rep, I get an answer of your order will process in 5 to 7 days, call back. Along with the lovely " have I helped you? and is there anything else I can do?" HA!! You haven't done anything. So, I call back once again. 7 days to be fair. The response, I am sorry, it takes 7 to 10 days for your order to process. So, I call on day 10, then told to call back again. That it takes 10 to 14 days. Today, after being told not once but twice to speak to a special department and being on hold. AND hung up on twice. I am still no where. And calling on day 15. DO NOT, DO NOT purchase from on-line. Find a store, compare your prices. Do not get stuck in this horrible nightmare! When I asked if I could cancel my whole order and how long it would take for funds to be retransmitted. 10 to 14 days.......

It takes some getting use to. I also purchased the adjustable base which is a game changer. I'm not sure if I am sleeping better just yet at two months but for the cost I hope to fully enjoy my new mattress & base. I love the firm mattress, and the adjustable base was a great addition though the legs could be a bit more sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got mine in January 2019 and it still feels like I am sleeping on a new bed. When traveling I miss two things, my bed and my dog. I am Tempur-pedic customer for life! Also, I ordered the queen size topper for guest. All the visiting guest believe its a tempur-pedic mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is, firstly, a very comfortable mattress. You don't have that get in, sink really deep into it thing that you do with some fully foam mattresses. The give is, instead, just enough to be really, really comfortable. And it's great for cuddling: your arm doesn't fall asleep. In contrast, I find that I'm definitely getting better sleep on this mattress, and, I don't wake up sore anymore. It's pretty fantastic. I've also found that, compared to my previous spring mattress, I don't feel as much when my partner moves or shifts in the night. I dare say this mattress is even more comfortable than a hammock, and that's saying something. One concern I had with a foam mattress was how warm it would be. Well, my fears turned out to be unjustified: even in an apartment with no air conditioning, in an unusually hot August, I had no trouble with overheating, and I definitely sleep on the warm side. I think this is due to the fact you don't end up sinking into, and being encapsulated in, the mattress. The only downsides I found with this mattress were minor. First, when it arrived, it definitely had a pretty strong plastic smell to it. Fortunately this dissipated after a few days. The other thing I discovered is that, if you don't have sheets that are big enough for the mattress depth, they really don't work! With my old mattress, slightly smaller sheets still gripped the side of the mattress fine. This one, though, has so much give in it that I kept waking up completely wrapped in the bottom sheet! This was rectified by purchasing some sheets that actually fit the 12 inch deep mattress--- but it's a good thing to know beforehand.
