No dents...but for whatever reason, ice accumulates horribly and I don't know how, why or where it comes from. It is almost as if water is pouring in from one corner and almost instantly freezes. The temp doesn't drop, the food is frozen...the seal, seals flush.

The freezer is great and exactly what I wanted for physical space. However, prospective purchasers need to note that the size posted in the images is incorrect. It is NOT 32.6 inches long, but closer to 36 inches. Other parts of the listing has sizes that are clearly not for the Frigidaire Gallery freezer at all. I won't mark down the freezer for Sam's misrepresenting the size as that is not what the purpose of this space is intended.

Purchased on 9/5. Then allowed the freezer it to sit 8 hours before plugging it in . Plugged it in and turned it on to #7, then allowed it to run 4 hours before transferring my food to the new freezer. 9/7 I went out of state only to return home to a house that smelled like a cemetery 2 weeks later. I'm enraged on top of the smell, I had over $300 worth of food inside of the new freezer.

After reading some reviews I feel lucky, as my unit came out of the box perfect. No damage, dings or dents. I let it sit in place upright for about 6 hours, which was probably overkill, since it was never tilted or laid on it's side. It reached 0 in less than 8 hours and is holding that or lower with dial adjusted just past half way. Just throw a freezer thermometer in to monitor the temp. So far it has been just great, and has a large amount of space. I feel it is a good value since it is roughly the cost of a 3.5 or 5.0 unit from other stores. There is no LED light, but it has a "compressor" on light which is a better feature IMO.

The lid was bowing and there was a small dent as well. Still works fine just a little damage.
