Hard to get out of the package

While the batteries are fine, trying to get out of the package is terrible. Not easy at all.

We are sorry for your experience with the battery packaging, KJM. Please know the packaging was updated to follow Reese’s Law, mandating all button, coin, and hearing aid batteries – and devices powered by those batteries – be contained in child-resistant packaging. We understand the challenge in first opening the packaging but believe once members become more familiar with how it works the easier it becomes to open.

Go bad before they can be used

They go bad very quickly. Several in a package didn’t work at all

Packaging sucks

Child resistant...do you know who your customers are? People who buy hearing aid batteries are old, most probably do not have children in the house, are weaker and have trouble opening packages, especially hearing aid batteries encased in cardboard which is encased in double plastic. Imagine your grandmother trying to open this. Help us old folks out here. Give us better packaging that fits our needs.

Before, yes; now no.

The ones before these were good; these in the "new package" are terrible! Out of the 48 new ones so far 9 have failed completely or the unit says "low battery ". Really , really, really hard to get out of the package, and I have a garage full of tools. I am going to request a refund and purchase Duracell.

Whoever came up with this packaging should be fired immediately. Considering most people that use hearing aids are the elderly they should not be this difficult to open.

Packaging

This is absolutely the dumbest. I agree about kids -however it is very important for an older person to be able to get the battery out of the package without getting seriously hurt - parents need to say no and mean it . Don't touch other people's stuff -

Great battery for price. Terrible packaging

Would be 5* except for childproof/older adult proof packaging. Over 3 years battery consistently last as long as major brands. Must use heavy duty scissors to cut packaging and peel out each battery, leaving sharp plastic edges. Normally take several minutes to cut and peel apart an entire 6 pack and store loose batteries in special case. Without doing that it is impossible to travel with extra batteries.

Had to use wire cutters to get the batteries out and I just put them into the old hearing aid containers I had still, but now that I got rid of the packaging I regret it because I have put multiple of them into my hearing aids and the hearing aid is already saying " low battery" with the new battery 🙃

Trash

These are horrible to try to get the batteries out of package. You could actually cut your finger. Nothing seems to work nothing but trash here. I will not be buying these.

Worst packaging design ever

The person that designed this packaging must have a vendetta against seniors. It is literally impossible to open without tools, and the force required to try and cut with scissors makes it outright dangerous. Once you do cut through it, you still have to pry at it and the plastic edges can cut you.
