Batteries hard to remove from package

So far, the batteries last a little longer (2days) than the previous brand I was using, and cost half as much. The issue I have is the packaging, which, the way, is the same as the new packaging being used by my previous brand of hearing aid batteries. It is difficult to remove the batteries from package. One really needs a pair of scissors to cut the package. If a person wanted to take a chance of being stabbed, he or she could use a knife to cut the package closure tabs in order to remove a new battery.

Frustrating packaging for batteries.

I’m giving this product three stars because it’s almost impossible to get the batteries out. The change in packaging requires scissors to cut out. You then have to get the scissors between the sturdy top and bottom to open the sealed plastic and pop the batteries out. The batteries themselves are a great price and they last almost a week.

Batteries for a good price.

Great price but horrible packaging. The old packaging was amazing and easy to use. The new packaging can cause problems especially if your older, since scissors and the plastic is difficult to cut. Wish the old card board packaging would come back.

Packaging not good

Batteries are fine but the packaging is terrible. My husband liked the previous packaging where you just rotated the wheel and got the next battery. He had to cut the packaging and then cut the battery slot open to get the battery. What do you do if you are out somewhere and need a new battery? No one will want to carry scissors around with them to cut out a new battery.

We are sorry for your experience with the battery packaging, Agnes. Please know the packaging was updated to follow Reese’s Law, mandating all button, coin, and hearing aid batteries – and devices powered by those batteries – be contained in child-resistant packaging. We understand the challenge in first opening the packaging but believe once members become more familiar with how it works the easier it becomes to open.

Terrible new packaging.

New packaging is bad. It is very difficult to get batteries out. I understand that this was done to make it child safe. It also makes it very hard for older people (hint: no small children) to use. I have to use scissors to take the batteries out then keep them in a non child safe box to use when needed away from home. Defeats the purpose of the new regulation!

Awful would give zero stars if I could!

Pain in the butt to open each battery, will not buy this one again please go back to the old way! Or provide the old packaging for those who dont have kids. I do not want to have to find a cutting instrument every time i want to replace a battery just to get a battery out of the packing

PACKAGING

this is the absolute worse packaging I have ever seen, this needs redesigned! sharp plastic and hands are not a good combination specially for the elderly or kids, definitely a safety issue.

Hard to get batteries out of package

This sheet which is meant to be child proof because evidently there are thousands of children swallowing or choking on hearing aid batteries. The older form of these batteries, you could turn like a wheel and dispense as needed. These require scissors just to get one out. I don't walk around with scissors as part of my daily activities. Plus, if I''m missing something here, there are no instructions other than cut here with scissors. Won't buy them again.

Will not buy these batteries again.

I have bought members Mark batteries before but not in this packaging. I will never buy these again. They claim they are child proof but they are also very much adult proof. I have yet to figure out an easy way to get at the batteries and I intend to go back to Sam’s and ask them to show me

Terrible Packaging

The batteries are fine but the packaging is terrible. Previously the battery was easily accessible through an opening in the package that required no tools. Now the plastic package must be cut to access each battery. Therefore, you cannot change the hearing aid battery unless you have scissors. This makes impossible to change batteries if travelling for instance, and no scissors are available. Will not be buying these batteries again.
