Seriously!?!?

Webb, my mom‘s hearing aids at Sam's and have gotten our Batteries there ever since. But the new packaging is horrible! WAY too hard for most 90 year women to open in their own!

Packaging not good

Batteries are fine but the packaging is terrible. My husband liked the previous packaging where you just rotated the wheel and got the next battery. He had to cut the packaging and then cut the battery slot open to get the battery. What do you do if you are out somewhere and need a new battery? No one will want to carry scissors around with them to cut out a new battery.

We are sorry for your experience with the battery packaging, Agnes. Please know the packaging was updated to follow Reese’s Law, mandating all button, coin, and hearing aid batteries – and devices powered by those batteries – be contained in child-resistant packaging. We understand the challenge in first opening the packaging but believe once members become more familiar with how it works the easier it becomes to open.

Hard to get batteries out of package

This sheet which is meant to be child proof because evidently there are thousands of children swallowing or choking on hearing aid batteries. The older form of these batteries, you could turn like a wheel and dispense as needed. These require scissors just to get one out. I don't walk around with scissors as part of my daily activities. Plus, if I''m missing something here, there are no instructions other than cut here with scissors. Won't buy them again.

Terrible Packaging

The batteries are fine but the packaging is terrible. Previously the battery was easily accessible through an opening in the package that required no tools. Now the plastic package must be cut to access each battery. Therefore, you cannot change the hearing aid battery unless you have scissors. This makes impossible to change batteries if travelling for instance, and no scissors are available. Will not be buying these batteries again.

Terrible Packaging

The batteries are great, but the packaging is terrible. Each individual battery must be cut open. The plastic is quite thick, and it is difficult for my elderly mother to cut open the packages.

Horrible packaging!

You changed the packaging and it’s horrible! It takes scissors or a knife to cut into the packaging and it’s still hard to get the battery out. Change back to the old packaging!

Worst design ever

It’s not a dispensing wheel. It’s hard plastic and you have to use scissors to cut each battery out individually. It’s not something to use on the go.

Great if you can access them.

The batteries work very well, and the price is better than other brands cost. But the packaging is a nightmare. "Childproof" is the understatement of the year.
