Terrible Packaging

I suggest these be RECALLED due to dangerous packaging. I cut my thumb and bled on my pants and couch. Returning to local Sams soon as i can get there.

We are sorry for your experience with the battery packaging, JBC. Please know the packaging was updated to follow Reese’s Law, mandating all button, coin, and hearing aid batteries – and devices powered by those batteries – be contained in child-resistant packaging. We understand the challenge in first opening the packaging but believe once members become more familiar with how it works the easier it becomes to open.

Packaging Nightmare

Batteries are great; packaging is horrible. It took a screwdriver and 2 different pliers to get 2 batteries out of the package. There is NO WAY you can cut this package with scissors (as they imply in the pictures).

Packaging appears to be easy open and dispense. But EVERY battery is SEALED in place. The selection does not rotate to an open spot. You can't carry this around in a purse or wallet and expect to access one without scissors.

HORRENDOUS PACKAGING!

I have used Size 13 batteries for my hearing aid since I was a child and have used various brands. This is by far the worst when it comes to access and packaging. These batteries are meant to be easy to retrieve and the Member’s Mark brand of Size 13 are nearly impossible to open, even when cutting with scissors. Please revamp the packaging ASAP!

bad packaging

I agree with the reviewer who finds the "new improved" packaging to be ridiculously difficult to open. With a large pair of scissors, it is nearly impossible. I've been buying my hearing aids and batteries at Sams for the past 10 years and that's about to change.

New Hearing Aid Batteries Package

The batteries are great for the price. The new packaging is HORRIBLE. When I first saw the new hearing aid battery package, I was excited because I thought you'd started packing them like the Energizer brand. I was extremely disappointed when I found your new child resistant packaging is ALSO adult resistant! This is ridiculous. This would be impossible for a person with poor finger strength to cut it open with scissors. YOU NEED TO REDESIGN THE PACKAGING AGAIN. This time, keep the customers in mind.
