I got this inverter generator because of the spec. I needed for my 2 refrigerator and cellphone charging in case of power outage. It quieter than the traditional generator. I love how easy it is to operate. when it arrived, I fill in the oil then gas, turn on the switch to choke, pull once,switch to run, pull again and it started working. I happy that it is so simple to operate. I've plug in my fridge and it's running like normal and the display is very helpful.

I have a larger Westinghouse generator I purchased for power backup to my house and to power my travel trailer when parked at campsites that don't have hookups. That unit is fairly loud and uses a lot of gas. I purchased the iGen2500 because it is smaller, quieter, and has an eco-mode to save on gas. Out of the box and gas added, the unit started right up. I tried using it to power the 15K btu AC on my travel trailer, but the unit required more startup power than the generator could provide at peak. I installed a soft-start device on the trailer's AC unit and now I can run it on the generator. That generator runs great, and I really like the gauges on the front. It's great to see the power it's producing (amps and voltage), and the remaining fuel level. Another thing of note is that the unit comes with a 1 year parts and labor warranty and a 2–3 year parts warranty.

I purchased 2 of these generators. wanted to power up my camper, with the intent to parallel these units. These units do not have a 30 amp plug, which is one of the few that don't. It is much louder than advertised and you can run other brands next to it and not hear the other brand running. All in all, I would not purchase this product again, I would spend the extra money to get a quieter one.

As numerous reviews stated this is a very quite unit. It's easy to move around, both my wife and I were able to lift and move the unit easily. We bought for use when a storm or a hurricane leaves us without power for an indeterminate time period. Set up directions are clear and easy to follow, good to have the first bottle oil included.

Bought this as a backup for my house when the power goes down to power the refrigerator mostly. Also may use it on my boat to charge batteries. Runs quietly and seems to do the job. When you start it for the first time, it will take a number of pulls to get it to start as apparently you need to get gasoline thru the carburetor. Then it starts easily with one pull after that.

I bought this a month ago. I'm very placed with how easy it is to use. Just add the provided oil and fuel and start. That's it. The included brochure has lots of helpful maintenance information. This generator powers my heater in my camper with plenty of power to spare.

It was surprisingly easy to start and fairly easy to carry! I read the manual from cover to cover and found everything clearly explained and all the "cautions" emphasized. I decided to test it out, being that it's my first generator. I followed the pre-operating instructions and filled it with the provided oil and recommended gasoline. Then I followed the starting procedures and pulled the recoil handle and it started on the 4th pull. Now I can sleep better at night knowing I'm prepared for the next power outage in my neighborhood.

Set up was a breeze. It came with oil, a funnel and tools. Instructions are clear. I tested it right away. I ran my French door refrigerator, vacuum cleaner and a couple of fans, all without problems. With 1.2 litters of gasoline ran over 3 hours. Capacity is one gallon (10 hrs). Digital displace is a great feature.

i recently bought this gen, because we camp out a lot and we needed a quiet one & let me tell you it does the job! at first i was iffy about it but comparing it to another loud gen, its definitely worth the price. my husband didnt trust me on buying it, but now that we had tested it out and used it. he agrees 100%. we like all the features and plugs in that it has. this gen is just for simple use. meaning if you like for work wise(maybe) or applying power to a whole house outtage,this is not your guy but it will give power to few devices and and a fan and maybe even a fridge.

I bought this a Sam's club and really didn't know of this make. I was looking for an inverter, and this one had the most running watts of a 2500 model. I will use this with my camping trailer along with a second one I purchased. I will run them in parallel with the cables I purchased separately. It is very well made and a solid unit with great features, and a three year warranty to top it off.
