Igen2800c

Many members on my hunting club have had these for a few seasons and they work perfectly! So i decided to get one myself so I don't have to haul my large generator on my trailer and burn 5 gallon of gas a night. Once I unboxed this new 2800 and added the oil and gas I ran it for a few minutes and it is SO quiet! Very glad i finally got one. I can wait to use it saving gas and not hollering trying to talk around it running.

IGen2800c-Super Quiet, All the Bells and Whistles

Bought this iGen2800c 2 months ago and it really lives up to the hype. Quietest unit on the market! Digital display makes it easy to keep an eye on the fuel level, output, and remaining runtime at all times. Compact and lightweight, it fits perfectly in the corner of my garage. A great feature is the convenient carb drain valve so you can drain the float bowl before storage without having to run the generator. Best small inverter on the market in my opinion.

Great Generator!

The generator started up on the second pull, powered everything I needed it to power, ran just as quiet as the Honda near it, and only used about 1 gal of gas during the 7 hours I ran it. I am extremely happy with this product.

Excellent value and very quiet

It powers everything I need for living without power after a hurricane. It is pretty quiet for its power, especially when in ECO mode, which totally handles my needs very well.

Portability and CO2 sensor

Happy I purchased the iGen2800c. I like the portability and the fact that I can move it about. With hurricane season upon us, I will use this generator to keep my freezer and refrigerator running along with a fan or two. I do like that there 2 phone charger ports as well.

Good option for house backup (one 20Acircuit only)

I bought this to run critical loads for the house during power outages. I finally got around to running a full load test today and it worked just as expected. I just added oil and gas and it started right up. I then connected loads one by one. Of course you have to look at the loads you want to connect, running and start-up, and get a generator of the right size, but I was able to run my furnace, hot water heater, sump pump, full size refrigerator, and computer/internet/wifi all at the same time. I also took the time to install a dedicated generator circuit in the basement so that I can just plug the generator into one spot, then connect extension cords to those receptacles (see photos, very convenient). I used a Reliance Transfer Switch TW151 for the furnace circuit connection (see separate review for that, easy install). You should have an electrician do any wiring and install the transfer switch if you use one of course! It's pretty quiet, but that was not a big concern for me. The eco mode works: the motor ramps up and down depending on the load. I also like the info panel where you can toggle between power output in kW, fuel level, runtime remaining, and voltage. I didn't think I'd use that but it is pretty neat. This is the first I've started it up so can't speak to longevity or reliability but so far, so good.

Starts Easy

I love that my generator starts effortlessly on the first pull. The only issue that I have is that I hate having to remove an access panel that contains screws to be able to check the oil. Is there anyway you can eliminate the screws and go with all snap clips?

Promotion review; So Far so good

Just picked up the igen2800c and so far it seems to be good quality, however I have not yet had the time to start it up. It will be a few days before I can, but your offer of a free generator cover for a review twisted my arm just enough to write one so we get that ball rolling.

Seems good

Received as a gift. After filling with oil & gas, it started on about the 7th pull, I expect that to get less after break-in. It's light enough to be easily carried to it's needed location. Can't speak to reliability or actual preformance as it's new.

Great Price, Works Well

I recently bought an iGen 2800. I'm in the middle of the break in period and so far so good.I'm not real happy that the cover needs to be removed to check the oil level. I'm hoping the screws holding the cover don't eventually strip out. Minor annoyance for an otherwise great product.
