The glassware and plates come out crystal clear after the drying cycle, and the machine is incredibly quiet. Initially, I was doubtful whether the dishwasher was even running because I was used to a Whirlpool dishwasher that made a lot of noise. But this one is so quiet that I can watch TV without any disturbance. Another important feature is that you can connect this dishwasher to the SmartThings app, allowing you to schedule dishwashing at any time and monitor its status. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my 10 year old high end dishwasher that was slowly aging. The Samsung online purchase experience was easy and the delivery and haul out was great. I installed the dishwash myself and it took about longer to unpack and gather the tools than to install. We've been using it for over a month. The kids are lazy and don't rinse their plates that well, or at all, this dishwash leaves clean dishes regardless. it is super quiet and the dishes are clean and dry when I go to grab them... What else can I ask for? If this review isn't updated later then I guess you can say it's lasted.

I had an earlier model and wanted the same. This is not as nice as my previous unit. Main problem is the silverware basket cannot be separated into two units; this wouldn't be such a big issue if the basket had some of way of being connected to the bottom rack. Ours tips over unless there is something like a plate standing in front of it. I have been looking for a solution (no mention in the manual) for a few weeks with no luck. Does anyone have an solution for me? Thank you

I purchased this "whisper quiet" and "so quiet you won't even know it's on" dishwasher in June of this year when we moved into our new home. Immediately I discovered that I could clearly hear the dishwasher, in fact I would even describe it as relatively loud. It is rated at 42 dBA, and my meter ratings had it pulsing as high as 63 dBA. It took awhile for me to get to arranging service as we had just moved in and had so much to do. When the Samsung repair people arrived, they had no concept of how loud it was supposed to be and told me that the machine was operating properly even though they themselves did a decibel measure that pulsed to 63 dBA. They called Samsung technical support who claimed -- out of the blue -- that the reading needed to be done TEN feet away from the machine. That reading STILL pulsed to the 50s, and Samsung tech support said that was within acceptable range. So quite frankly, I have no idea what the "42 dBA" advertised for this machine means. We have an open concept kitchen and purchased this dishwasher so that it could run while we were eating and we wouldn't hear it, which, as is clear by now, is absolutely not the case. I've attempted to continue to pursue my issue with Samsung. After my service appointment, I called in and I was given a claim number and told that I would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours. No one called me. I called myself a week later and was told that my claim was cancelled as the service techs deemed there was "nothing wrong" with my machine, despite the meter readings they themselves did. I asked to be elevated to a supervisor and I am now awaiting that callback, if it ever happens. It's an absolute clown show. I am a GIANT Samsung customer -- I've purchased MULTIPLE phones, watches, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, refrigerators -- EVERYTHING. I am normally very happy with their products and customer service, but they've absolutely browned the bed on this one. If you are expecting a machine that you "won't know it's on," DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I can't overstate the degree to which the product, and the subsequent service/support, has utterly failed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My amazement at how well this dishwasher cleans is expected considering Samsung's track record for producing high-quality items. In fact, Samsung now controls the entire space in my kitchen. The dishwasher runs quietly at 42 decibels, so it doesn't interfere with our television viewing. We don't have to run as frequently because it has a far higher interior capacity than my previous one (have a household of 4). To make room for plates on the bottom rack, silverware or Tupperware lids can be kept on the third rack. On this rack, I wish there was a little bit more room for small bowls. Taller objects can be accommodated by raising or lowering the central rack. It features a Stormwash mode that cleans even the toughest of crusted food particles on the plate, despite the fact that we try to semi-clean the plates before we put them in. Taller objects can be accommodated by adjusting the center rack. Wine glasses, water bottles, and coffee mugs all fit nicely with it. The glasses and dishes are always spotless. It has an ingenious energy-saving function that aids in drying the dishwasher by opening it so that they may dry naturally.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving our new dishwasher! It was a needed upgrade and looks great next to our new Samsung Fridge. I purchased this model after helping my Mom upgrade to a similar model last fall. We have both been equally pleased with our Samsung dishwashers, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade. The biggest surprise is just how much I can fit into this dishwasher, it's huge! We have a family of six so this really helps cut down on how often we are running it. I love having the silverware tray on top; the middle rack is very flexible; and the bottom rack is great. Most importantly, the dishwasher is doing a good job cleaning and drying. Gel detergent works well, and pods seem to work especially well. I especially like the auto release feature - it cuts down on confusion as it visually signals to family members the dishwasher is "clean". It is super quiet and if you're upgrading from an older model, you will wonder at first if it's actually running! Smart dry is also a great feature allowing flexibility in where you place plasticware. Overall, I am very impressed and, surprisingly, have no suggestions for improvement. However, the manual didn't explain some of the features well, but these are easily found online.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Samsung dishwasher StormWash+ 42 dBA with smart fry and front handles in stainless. I love the feature for the silverware on the top third rack. I've always wanted this feature and have found it's great to keep the silverware clear and more organized. I love the bottom rack that has the StormWash feature where I can put a pot in that corner and push the button to have extra power in washing that item. Great for pots that have has been really cooked in and need that extra screening action. I like that I can have a 12 place setting capability with in this great dishwasher. I can have a dinner party and not have to worry about having hours of hand washing dishes that don't fit because this dishwasher has the capacity to clean enough for twelve! I recommend this dishwasher especially for those families that need a lot of dishwashing because it'll save time and x scrubbing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my wife for Christmas. She absolutly LOVED it! It is so quiet, and does an excelent job on everything we throw at it. And maintenence is a breeze as well! The smart home options are realy nice as well. And I personaly LOVE the drying from the side thing. Seemed wierd to me at first but being able to put plastics just about anywhere in the washer is a MAJOR plus! Love this thing.

Took a little while to learn how to use it with the electronics....had it only a month now but it's doing well. Delivery was great they made sure it was hooked up and cleaned up after themselves. And I love the look of it. The no fingerprints on is great, love the color easy to clean... the door pops open to help with drying . Love I can use my phone if I forget to turn it on...
