Purchased in 2024 to connect with our EnPhase solar and battery backup system. Electrician did a great job and I plumbed the LP line. Checked the LP with manometer and all was/still is, good. Generator has performed as needed during the outages we get often, even when the solar array is working and below the settings for generator assistance. I perform my own maintenance and use OEM parts. The generator charges the batteries quickly to help save on LP costs. Nice to know we are covered!

I bought this a couple months ago and the installation was finalized this past week. It has not been in service yet but I know it will be there next time we have a large storm and loose electricity. The generator is very well built and the installation was top notch.

I purchased this 1 year ago and could not be more pleased. My wife and I both work from home. So, power outages which are becoming more frequent are disruptive. It's large enough to power our entire home. And the cutover is pretty seamless. We also have cellular backup for internet connectivity which is a super-solid combination.

This is our second Generac as we recently moved to Florida and had to leave our other Generac behind. The feeling of security it provides, and the almost instant continuation of electric service to our home, is worth every penny of its price. Our Generac dealer made the entire process simple for us, taking care of each detail involved with the installation. The instructions provided were simple and clear, and they made sure we knew how to reach them with any questions or concerns we might have. Overall, the level of comfort having our Generac installed has made us more comfortable in our new home.

Had generator for about 1 year and it has run during one power outage. I run it under load every couple of months for at least 1 hour to make sure the components are exercised and to stabilize the bearings and motor generator. It is important to break-in when it's not an emergency!

We Purchased the Generac system one month ago. With the recent storms in Wisconsin I felt so safe that if our power went out we had a backup system. Having a household with people with disabilities it is very important to have power to keep cool/warm, so the sump pump continues to work, the food will stay safe and cold and the medical equipment needed for saftey reasons will work. I no longer have to get out all the candles and flashlights when a storm is coming. I just sit back and relax knowing we will ALWAYS have power!!

When initially installed I had control of functions from my phone. Soon after installation the Wi-Fi part failed and need to be replaced. At that time I no longer had control of functions from my phone and those that I talked to basically said tough! I had a generac in my previous home and one reason I bought again was I like the control feature on my phone. I have two more homes I'm planning to build, but unfortunately generac wont be first choice now…. Of course that could change if I had my control back since that was test another thing my dealer touted.

Shortly after installation, power went out and within 5 seconds the generator kicked on. I really don't know why I have waited this long to get this generator. It is loud while it's running, but I can deal with that, knowing that I have power! I would highly recommend this generator!!

What a difference when the power goes out. We hear a click the generator starts and the power comes back on. I didn't have to scramble for gas cans, go outside to set the choke, turn the fuel on plug the power cord into the house, start the generator, turn the transfer switch on and switch the generator to house on. All of this was usually done at night in miserable weather. Now we just hear a click, the sound of the generator and the power comes on in seconds. We purchased ours a few months ago and had it installed about a month. We were going to use the existing switch we have with our solar panels and the EG4 batteries but come to figure out we had to get the switch installed by the company that installed our unit because the place to connect to the EG4 inverter was being used by one set of solar panels that was running on AC. If that set of solar panels was DC like my other set of solar panels then we could have used the EG4 inverter and saved a lot of money. Installation was done without any complaints and looks very nice. We only had the unit come on for a check so don't know how it will be when the power goes down which just happened a few days before the unit was installed. But our EG4 batteries did just fine. Don't know how much more to say except we are running it from a new 500 Gallon LPG tank they installed just for the generator.
