So far, so good. It's installed and is showing that it's ready to go. It's been in for about three weeks and does it's automatic test each week. I feel guilty wanting a power failure to happen so i can be sure it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It will eventually happen and I'm ready for it. Worth the price and piece of mind to keep me and my family up and running.

After building our new home on the South Texas coast and installing our new Generac with automatic start, we moved in in May 2017. Three weeks later, a huge storm hit and our entire town lost power. Needless to say, we were the only house on our street with power and, thank goodness, air conditioning. Our Generac was worth every penny -- we're so glad we installed it from the beginning!

We had days of power outage after Hermine. Had to throw out a lot of food and endure the heat. We also were without water, as we are on a well. It was a miserable time. I decided then to get a generator. I checked around and this one was what everyone recommended. Since installation, we lost power for a couple of hours. It fired up immediately and we felt secure. Glad we got it.

We live in a rural area which is prone to power interruptions, so we felt we needed to have backup power generation capability. After comparing several alternatives, we chose Generac. Installation went smoothly, and the technicians explained everything we needed to know about the system in detail. Since then, our power has gone out twice. Both times, the Generac unit automatically started up, and provided power as advertised. The automatic transition back to commercial power and generator shutdown went smoothly. We are very satisfied with our decision to go with Generac, and highly recommend the system to anyone who needs backup power capability.

Well made except for flimsy plastic door and frame covering circuit breakers. The electrician broke mine and a different electrician broke my son's identical model. It would be nice if the factory offered a model for cold states with the battery heater, oil heater, and synthetic oil installed. Overall nice appearance and very easy to setup. I would defintely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a generator.

i looked at units from several competitors and generac to decide on a generator for my home. After reviewing the others and talking to the electricians that install these everyday I went with the 22kw Generac. We have had the unit kick in one time because of bad weather that turned the power off all over our area for close to 8 hours, It ran great and did everything we expected, my whole house was able to run flawlessly and we had complete safety and comfort. I would buy again!

We are just getting ready for the electrician to hook it up. It was delivered timely, we kept it in the garage until we got the cement pad poured. My husband will hang the box that came with it on the wall of the basement, then we will wait for the electrician. Don’t know how well it works yet but hoping by the name Generac it will work well.

The product looks great and performs very well on tests I had no chance to test it during power outage as we had no significant outages since instillation The team that installed it were great . Professional, on time and knowledgeable. It looks great and has many new features. I like that it has a long term warranty at no extra charge. Like insurance, it is good to have but hope I don't need to use

Can't tell you enough how please we are with personal and professional attention that James Lundy and team gave us. We have needed the generator one time since installation and within one minute it was as if there was not any problem We used both televisions. had heat, washed clothes, cooked. It is wonderful. We use this as backup power running on propane. Works fine. My wife was not going to go crank something. It comes on about 10 seconds after a power failure. We have a 22KW unit and it powers everything including a 4 ton HVAC. I love it. Be careful about placement as this is an engine and makes some noise. We have it on the side of the garage away from the house and we can barely hear it. A neighbor installed his (natural gas) and has had problems. Don't have a clue as to why. I just know that mine works flawlessly.
