We replaced an older “essential” circuits Generac generator with a 24kW whole house system. Very happy with both the installer and the new generator. If I would change anything on it, it would be the lid (very flimsy) and it would be much nicer if it were quieter. Other than those two items we’re very happy with everything.

Love my new Generac, I feel so much better knowing that I’ll have power during a power outtage. I live alone and it has given me a great security knowing I’ll taken care of. The guys that installed it was fantastic!!! Very VERY professional. I highly recommend GTI Generac power systems.

I have had my generator for 1 year. Love it. Great investment. Peace of mind just knowing that it’s there. I have used it a few times, generator comes on seconds after a power outage. My home functions don’t skip a beat during a storm. Definitely recommend.

The generator does what it is suppose to do very well, it's been a savor for a couple storms and power outages. But I have been made aware that the generator should be shut down after prolonged outages intermittently. Which I'm trying to understand what one does when you're away for a prolonged period of time and there is a prolonged outage while you're away?

It has been very reliable and we are very happy with our investment and equally happy with Genesis Electric install and assistance! If you've ever been without power for a prolonged period, you know how important it is to have a backup system, and especially important as you age for safety reasons.

We bought this 24KW four months ago and was only able to get it installed a month ago. So far we're very pleased with it. We bought a 22KW Generac 20 years ago and got a lot of usage out of it in south Louisiana. Back then it was referred to as a "whole house generator" but we soon learned that didn't mean you could run "everything" in the house on it. It running under a load because of a power outage and my wife was running the clothes washer, dryer, microwave, the electric oven and all the lights at the same time and it handling the load just fine until our 3.5 ton AC kicked on and it started to bog down badly. Lesson learned!! We have only used this one in the exercise schedule and not under a load yet. It is quieter than our old one though. Be sure to get the App for it if you want a more detailed status of it and setup an exercise schedule.

Since these initial and really no longer relevant items above there have been two emergency stops. I basically emailed everybody for whom I had an address and Kirsten Sandoval responded and told me how to to fix the error. "This issue can be resolved by going out to the generator, making sure the black switch located on the back of the generator is in the up position open the generator lid press off press enter, press auto, and that should clear the code." The first time that occurred was September 7, 2025 according to the date on the email and it occurred once more earlier this year. There is a possible future problem here in that my spouse is not mobile and I am becoming less mobile with age and I can foresee some time in the future when I can't go outside and fix it myself so if there is a permanent fix that would be great. For a period of time after installation the mobile connection would fail for a period of time. I made several complaints and perhaps somebody came out and fixed it when I wasn't here or they did something online to fix it but it has worked fine since.

We have had the unit for about 10 months. It now tests twice a month for 10 minutes self checking and keeping the oil moving around. We had an outage the week after it was installed while we were away. I received a notice of it working, via the app, as it was supposed to do. We have had two other outages last year. The unit performed perfectly. So far so good! I had a year of complimentary wireless coverage. I just signed up for the next year. While not really a cheap benefit, it is nice to have. I may change to testing once a month later. We used to have outages every other month around my neighborhood due to weather, trees and old lines. Consumers has done a good job of cleaning up the lines and overhanging trees. The outages are fewer now, but as an older person, I now join the group of people that are more susceptible to cold, heat and less flexibility in dealing with the inconveniences of power outages. Our Generac should make things easier!

I have had it for a year now, and of course there has not been a power outage since the installation. However I did decide to run a simulation of an outage and was very happy with the results. My only issue is the description provided on Generac’s website, makes it sound like the noise level is just above the level of an air conditioner. If I had an air conditioner that loud, I would be worried!!
