Had generator for about 1 year and it has run during one power outage. I run it under load every couple of months for at least 1 hour to make sure the components are exercised and to stabilize the bearings and motor generator. It is important to break-in when it’s not an emergency!

We Purchased the Generac system one month ago. With the recent storms in Wisconsin I felt so safe that if our power went out we had a backup system. Having a household with people with disabilities it is very important to have power to keep cool/warm, so the sump pump continues to work, the food will stay safe and cold and the medical equipment needed for saftey reasons will work. Purchase & Installation just completed this week. The season for power failures is a month away. Friends and neighbors have been very satisfied with their units and are the reason for any selection of a 24KWH unit.

A good unit. Once the leak was fixed My unit developed an oil leak shortly after installation Contacted Generac they sent a dealer mechanic out. I believe the oil leaks fixed. I gotta go out and check it.

Purchased a whole house "automatic" generator because I live in a very rural, snowy area. I lost power multiple times last winter. I'm ready for anything this winter.
