We purchased the Generac system for our home about 6 months ago anticipating an active hurricane season in Hawaii. Luckily the hurricanes passed our remote island, but we did have several power outages due to high winds and downed power lines. One recently lasted 3 days! All of our refrigerated foods were not lost, we had lights in house and we were able to stay in touch with emergency news reports. We are very pleased with the efficient operation of our Generac. Best investment ever and have recommended it to all of our friends!

Great looking stand alone generator that I have not had the use of as yet, but just knowing it is there for me when I have a power failure gives me great piece of mind. It looks good in the cabinet, and the installation was great. Knowing that whether I am home or not, in the middle of the night, or at any time in between, my home will be protected by my automatic Generac generator.

This is my third Generac unit. I installed similar units at two prior homes. The Generac people have this down to a science. The units have all performed exactly as advertised and have each been trouble free. In my opinion, these are excellent products and the best bang for the buck,

Good Morning I have installed several of these type generators over a few years as an electrician. In that process I have seen several changes to your product all to make it better and easier to install and maintain. This is the first I have installed for myself and the way the connections are maid with the front of the generator opening and the cables to the breaker is the best I have seen and love it. I just received a 30 KW for a customer and will install it a month or two when the house is finished and expect it to be a great product as well. Keep up the good work and as always I will push the Generac Name with all the houses I wire. Again Thank You

We use this as backup power running on propane. Works fine. My wife was not going to go crank something. It comes on about 10 seconds after a power failure. We have a 22KW unit and it powers everything including a 4 ton HVAC. I love it. Be careful about placement as this is an engine and makes some noise. We have it on the side of the garage away from the house and we can barely hear it. A neighbor installed his (natural gas) and has had problems. Don't have a clue as to why. I just know that mine works flawlessly.

Generac puts a nice package together with including the transfer switch. We lost power one time so far what a good feeling no interruption in electric no extension cords throughout the house from a portable generator .I can't hear it run it's quiet I need to go to the back of house to hear it when it exercises . It took 3 days to receive from the day I ordered.

So far, so good. It's installed and is showing that it's ready to go. It's been in for about three weeks and does it's automatic test each week. I feel guilty wanting a power failure to happen so i can be sure it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It will eventually happen and I'm ready for it. Worth the price and piece of mind to keep me and my family up and running.

This permanently installed Generator replaced a portable gasoline powered one that required moving outside and connecting through a manual transfer switch. The portable worked fine for many years when we were younger, but now it is difficult for my wife to use it. The numbers of power outages here in Rural Pennsylvania are increasing each year so we installed the new 22kw Generac running on Natural Gas. Also, the new Generac has an automatic Transfer Switch which is really fantastic. I have recommended Generac to all my friends in my area. Great design and ease of installation make it the top choice in my book.

I've only had to use my Generac once, and it run for approximately 4 hours. Only problem was that it pulsed the entire time it was running and the lites and appliances pulsed when used. It did this the entire time it ran. I called for repair and was told Generac knew of the problem and it would be fixed. This was about 4 weeks ago, and after checking again I was told someone would be here today or tomorrow? Other than that, the Generac did run and I did have power, which was a good thing. Looking forward to using the Generac in a better running environment in the future.

We had this generator installed in December and so far we have not had to use it. That's a good thing. In the past we have had to sit in a dark, cold house for up to a week. We're too old for that now. We kept seeing General generators being installed in several new houses being built in our area so we talked to a few of the neighbors, made a call and got one ordered. We go out and check when it runs its test and I hate to say it but I'm ready for a power outage!
