This is the second Generac generator. I move away from the first that was a 20KW on natural gas. I had no problems with it during the 7 years it was in service. I installed a 22KW on propane as soon I got settled here. No problems with this unit in the three months since installed. In Oklahoma we are subject to power outages any time.

After a flood I call the dealer that installed the system and they came out very quickly and restarted the system. Even though the water level went up the side of my unit approx. 6 to 8 inches. It restarted without any problem. My next call for service was when the green light turned to red. I called to get advise on what I needed to do. I never received a call back. It's been several weeks still no answer. I went ahead and restarted and so far the system is running and the light is staying green.

After Katrina in south Mississippi we were without power and water for 23 days. It was 105 degrees for several days. Miserable. Since then every time a storm would move into the Gulf my tension levels would go off the charts. We decided to fix the problem. In the fall of 2016 we installed a Generac 22kw propane fueled generator. Within 4 months we have lost power 5 times due to tornadoes and storms. The last outage the generator ran 10 hours straight with no problems. We were the only house in our area with lights. It was awesome! We don't worry about power failures anymore. We love this generator and it's one of the best investments we've made. I can't stress enough the peace of mind we have now. Thank you Generac for standing by!!!

I bought one of the first automatic standby Generacs years ago. I hope the new one is as good as the old. The old one was plug and play on the wiring. New one is more difficult on wiring. Have to call or go on Internet to activate. They don't want the average homeowner to install, that's a missed opportunity. Good unit so far.

Our home is approximately 7,000 sq.ft. with a fully equipped office. This installation was installed quickly and expertly, Compared with other systems/manufacturers, this installation is accommodating the entire home and office at 2/3rds or less the rated output and half the cost. very efdfective.

Have been wanting a generator as I have well water and live in a cold climate. Unbelievably, we had a power outage for 2-3 hours just a few hours after installation was completed on the day before a holiday! Switches over without a blink. Great service from my installing electrician, and extended warranty to boot. Couldn't be happier, and so relieved to no longer have to worry about weather!

I have experienced no power failures since installation turn on in October. As such I am unable to give a through review. I usually have a half dozen power failures per year, so I'm overdue. The unit does do its bi-weekly tests as scheduled. The noise level is a tad higher than ideal, but tolerable.

am so happy with my generator works great cycles once a week, like I set it to. have already had a couple of power outages and barely have a blink in power.. works great . would advise everyone to use the generac produce great price for a quality produce

We have a farm an when power goes out we have nothing! not even a tractor generator, so when we lose power its not good. now that we have a Generac generator we don't have to worry anymore. thank you Steve we love our Generac. An we have already had to use it!

We are very pleased with our purchase and the installation by our electrician. Fortunately we have not needed to use it yet. It does run every Sunday on time like clock work. It has a very nice appearance much nicer then our house a/c unit. We would definitely recommend this generator.
