No more messing around with a portable generator, trying to pull the cord to start it, filling it, being sure we have enough cans of gas for an emergency! Hoping we are home when the power goes out so that we can start the generator going, or if it runs out of fuel. With our Generac 22KW Guardian whole-house generator, we don’t have to worry. Nice-looking unit. So quiet compared to portable generators. Best features:Transfer switch kicks on automatically whenever there is a power outage. Powers up and checks itself periodically, green light/yellow light/red light alerts us if something is wrong. Overall, a great investment that adds value to our Florida home if/when we want to sell. Love it!

I love on Corpus Christi Texas. After being without power for 8 days after Hurricane Harvey. I decided I needed to get one. I have a handicapped son and need to have power for his equipment. I was just installed last week. Installation went great. Will was very helpful from start to finish. Unit looks great. Works great. Peace of mind now. Best Investment.

We had our 22Kw generator installed last fall just in time for hurricane season. The Carolina's get a lot of hurricanes that affect the inland areas as well as the coast. Plus our ice storms cause a lot of power outages. It is really reassuring having the Generac. We can stay cool in the heat and warm when cold.

Exceeded my expectations, I had the transfer switch installed when the house was constructed so the install was quick and easy. Very professional. Have not had a power outage yet so i cant comment on the ability of the unit to power everything but when it was tested it came up and did what it supposed to do

We had Casey Mechanical install our 18KW generator last spring and have nothing but good things to say ever since! They arrived on time and installed the custom General pad and generator as purchased. The install was seamless as has been its operation. We have lost power in bad weather, ice storms and due to hydro problems but we have not had to go without power since it was started up. Generac and Casey Mechanical make a great team!

Mike, Aiden, Damon and Andrew from Adam's Electric did a super job of the installation and cleaned up everything. I'm susceptible to outages being out in the country with many trees around and I love the reliability of a Generac unit backing up my home.

The generac has great features from what I am told. Unfortunately, since I have had it installed and gas tank filled I haven’t been able to use. When they came to actually turn it on, after we got the gas, the fan would not come on. So although we have it and it’s completely installed, we can’t use it. Apparently this is a common factor defect. Which if it is then generac should of had these pull or at least the parts on immediate stand by vs us having yo wait 2-3 weeks for the replacement fan. The machine cost too much for that type of error in something that’s brand NEW!

I had this generator installed and the first night we lost electrict power and the Generac kicked on in just a few seconds. I am very happy with the Generac. The company that installed the electrical services were very knowledgeable about the generator and very professional in their insulation.

The purchase, installation and certified startup went very well. The first year of service with five hours of run time required three warranty visits by the certified startup company. The first warranty call was due to the generator over cranking and loose bolts on the frame. The certified startup company addressed these issues quickly. The second warranty call was due to an oil leak. The certified startup company found loose hose connections around the engine and cooler. They replaced the factory clamps with adjustable clamps. Once again they did a great job. The third warranty call was due to another oil leak. This time the certified startup company found the front engine seal leaking. This was a major repair as they had to remove the entire end of the generator. Once again, they did a great job. At this point, I started asking questions about the warranty and extended warranties. I was given the warranty registration details from the certified startup company and was told to call Generac. I called the main number and was told to call the power group as they handled extended warranties. I called the power group and was told my generator was not registered to call the main number again. I called the main number again and they stated the generator was registered and to call the power group again. Well after many calls I realized I could not fix their departmental communication problem and gave up. I do believe Generac is a good company which is why I still recommended the product. However, I would highly recommend reviewing other manufacturers offers, as I unfortunately found afterwards that they have better warranties and very good reviews as well.

We had a similar Generac Generator in our previous home and upon moving into our new home in a new state where storms and power outages are more common, we naturally decided to once again add a Generac Generator. Our experience with these products has been very satisfying and makes us feel more confident and protected. Very pleased with the product and that this company stands behind the product and supports their installers.
