In two year's time, other than the monthly tests, our generator had been running for less than two days, total- then Hurricane Sally hit our area. 200,000 homes were without power. Hundreds of telephone/electrical poles were snapped like matchsticks. Thanks to our Generac Guardian, our home had power for 70+ hours. It easily powered our 2,000 Sq. ft. home. Two of our neighbors bought Guardian 22KW generators, just like ours, after we recommended that model, so there were three Generac Guardian 22KW generators, less than 1/4 mile apart, that ran 70+ hours with absolutely no problems. It immediately shut down when the power grid returned. We could hear the gasoline generators of a few neighbors still running hours after our electricity returned as it was still daylight.

We purchased our new Generac 22KV generator with the knowledge that we were getting a leader in the industry of home back up generators. The crews worked all day and did a great installation. We haven't had a power outage yet but we fill confident that when we have one our generator will work wonderful!

Living along the Gulf Coast having a Genrac backup gas generator provides peace of mind should the inevitable hurricane arrive. But we also have intermittent power outages and a 2021 winter storm that kicked Texas’ butt! So having moved to a new home we were quick to call our Genrac rep and order a new generator for this home also; we installed our first a few years ago in the townhouse we previously owned. The Genrac was a good selling feature for us and important to the new homeowners also!

In Oklahoma, tornadoes are frequent. Had one August 7th, lost power. After about 20 seconds, heard the Generac fire, everything lit up, two 4 ton AC's, double oven, 3 reefers and all lights. You never know til you need it and it worked flawlessly. All my neighbors were in awe! Every home I live in the future will have a Generac! Our Generac was installed in November, 2022. So far we haven't needed it yet but it's great to know that in the event we lose power it's there to take over. Our installer was great, did an excellent job and provided all the information we need to keep it ready when needed. I have the Mobile Link app on my phone and PC to check that it is ready and exercising as scheduled, so far it's been right on time. We couldn't be more pleased.

Contractor got a replacement masterboard and installed, which was necessary as my brand new 24Kw arrived with a bad board a week earlier (system would not run). Appreciate that Generac replaced the board quickly, but a new unit should be 100% functional when leaving the factory. Once a good board was installed system was able to handle startup (did a 1/2 hour check out run of losing power) of 2 - 2 ton A/C units, range & dryer within a 5 min period. Automated weekly start for the first week test ran as programmed, and we appear to be in business. Long term may deserve a higher rating, but getting a bad functioning new unit, caused by a bad board, does not instill trust in a product. Will update the first time I lost power. Satistifed with contractor service.

This unit was purchased to replace a 20 kw destroyed by a flood. There was no hesitation on selection based on 9 years of wonderful performance by the 20 kw unit that was lost. It performed on numerous occasions and was responsible for a number of neighbors to follow our example on going this route. We feel secure and confident living in a rural area with outages that are too frequent.
