I was particularly impressed with the installation crew. They were professional, very neat, they did an incredibly good job of explaining the features of the unit, and cleaning up when complete. I would highly recommend this product and our distributor to ANYONE!

Recently had the whole house generator installed. The employees doing the install were great and very knowledgeable. I did lose power about a week later for a short time and the generator came on exactly as it should. Would recommend this generator and Metro Electric to anyone in the market.

I just finished installation of a Generac 22kw 70422 unit to replace a 10 year old Generac 20kw model. The installation went very well as I was using my existing ATS. The wiring diagrams could of been a little clearer identifying where the wires needed to land and how many the unit actually needed to function properly. Four of the five terminals were clearly identified the 5th wire required a little research. It would have been helpful if I would have know the gas line from the unit was 3/4 inch rather than the 1/2 inch used by the 20kw model. The WiFi instructions were as little cloudy but after the calling the helpline I received outstanding service. Hopefully this unit will last for many years! I have installed about 6 of these units over the last 10 years and the 20kw model I just replaced is the only one I have had issues with. I would strongly recommend Generac to others seeking standby power options!

This generator is so quiet that I don't even realize when it comes on. My electricity was out for over 30 minutes, and I didn't even realize it was off. I received a notice from my electric company that it had been restored. The test run comes on once a week and I forget to see if it works because I don't hear it. My neighbor's generator makes so much noise when it comes on that I can hear it anywhere in my house. I absolutely recommend this generator!!

I had an electrician install this generator brand new out of the box. It started right up and worked fine, however we couldn't get the Wifi module to work. I called Mobilelink and we couldn't figure it out, so I had to have a service tech come out to trouble shoot. Turns out the wifi module wasn't even plugged in. So we plugged it in, connect to the internet and did a software update that ultimately fried the control unit, so now the generator won't even start. The control unit is now on order and am waiting with a very expensive giant paperweight sitting in my yard. To make matters worse, there is currently a heat wave with rolling power outages and my generator is just sitting there doing nothing except burning a hole in my pocket.

I live in an area where we lose power at least 2 time during winter and for multiple days. The aggravation of rolling out my small generator and running extension cords through a windows and doors “ARE OVER”, Thanks to Gen-Tech Power Systems in the Buffalo, NY area. The sales & service people are excellent, and the installation went very well. My family and I are very pleased on how professional everything was handled. I would definitely recommend Gen-Tech Power Systems and the Generac Whole Home 22kw generator.

We had our Generac 22kw generator installed on Monday August 29, 2016. Hurricane Hermine hit the Florida coast on September 2, 2016. We lost power for 56 hours and the generator performed perfectly. Turned on when it was supposed to, turned off when it was supposed to. We did not miss a beat. Powered the whole house, AC, well pump, electric stove and microwave. We shut it down once to check oil level, full and clean. I would suggest anyone living in a hurricane prone area, particularly in rural areas, to invest in a whole home generator. As I write this there are still thousands without power 4 days after the storm. As long as you have fuel, you have power.

Generator has not worked properly since it was bought in 2019. We have had 7 so called tecs, working on it and the only thing they do is hand us a bill. The only thing theyknow how to do is change the easy parts, not a one knows how to analize the generator and pin point the problem. When ever the temps go above 70 deg. the red light comes on and a1505 code is shown. The same code comes up every time after it runs a weekly exercise.

Couldn't be more pleased with the installation contractor, the workmanship and timely installation. Without a word of a lie, the generator came online and provided the 'whole' house with power - with a utility outage less than 48 hours after the commissioning of our system. Great unit - reliable!
