I wish I had better things to say but I feel the company that installed the unit did a poor job the unit leaks oil and when I told them about it on the 1st maintenance visit, they wanted charge me extra this was part of the installation and has been leaking ever since . Other folks may have a better experience with this brand I think it was just the company that has installed mine .

We paid over 10 grand just a year ago for brand new generac. It's only ran for 5 minutes at a time for its weekly test. We lost power 4 days a go. The generac kicked on and has ran solid. We haven't used much power. Mostly lights and fridge. This morning, the generac just quit. Went to check it out and it has blown oil out the side. They say our power is still a day, possibly from returning. Called generac and they can't get anyone here for at least 3 days. I'm very disappointed and sickened that we spent well over 10 grand on this product. I don't feel at all comforted ,now, for having it for emergency.

I'm so thankful I purchased this generator my daughter had been wanting me to buy one for a few years . Me being afraid to step out on faith thinking we couldn't afford one. So we prayed about it God heard our prayers and sent the right salesmen to talk to us about it. I almost called him and told him not to come but a small voice dropped into my spirit and said just listen to what he has to say and the rest was history.. so thankful I listened and didn't make that call to not come and tell me about this generator... We are so thankful and it's at a price that we can pay without a struggle... Yes God will always get the glory from us. . GREAT INVESTMENT to our home. Thank you all so very kindly. Bought this over the winter and have already lost power for three days. Generac saved our food in freezers and fridges. Last year we lost everything. Like the AP so if you are away from home you can see it if it is running. Also since we are on a well, Generac kept the water running! Lights, water, kitchen, wifi all good.

Weekly test runs are going fine: starts on time and idles low after a short run at full speed (so it is much quieter). First power outage and the transfer switch, generator and power supply started, ran and shut off seamlessly. Impressive. The only improvement would be if it were not that loud: can be heard clearly in the house and even might affect level of speaking or certainly could affect getting to sleep.

Awesome! Runs my entire home during power outage. I have a 3650 square foot home with 2 HVAC (2 and 4 ton) units, an ice maker and 2 refrigerators.
