This product is essential to comfortable living in South Louisiana! With many power outages, it would be miserable without it, or even using a manual generator which has to be constantly monitored. I view it as needed as much as having central air condioning. I would definitely recommend it.

Professional interaction with installer, Spectrum electric. They know the Generac product and how to install it inside and out. Only one instance of power outage since installation. Generator performed perfectly for approx 1.5 hours during outage and kept house comfortable including heating units operation. My only complaint is that the unit is noisier than expected and location between houses amplifies the noise during operation.

We used to shudder when a storm was coming because we "knew" we would lose our electric. It was not if we would lose our electric, but would worry about how long it would be out? Could be hours to days. We can now relax since we know that within seconds our entire house will have electric with the Generac whole house generator.

I've had my backup generator for about seven months now. This is my second one actually, since my first was stolen a day prior to it being installed. The generator was installed by our electrician. I set up the programming of it, which was very straightforward. The power has only gone out once since then and it was amazing how it started right up, switched over and ran into power was reestablished. It automatically rubs through its test runs weekly without a hitch. It's a great comfort.

One day after LP gas hook up was completed a traffic accident (no major injuries) caused the power to be out for 3 hours. Well everyone except us Generator kicked on and heat and more important to my 78 year old father the TV worked (lol). To try and sum it up OUTSTANDING!!!

This is my second generac unit. The new one is much better than the first. The steel case on the first rusted very quickly here in S. Florida. The battery charger on the new unit was a terrific addition but did require some new wiring that the first unit didn't need. So far no problems (in use for six months).

Bought 2 months ago and not satisfied ,Contractor had to Come 4 weeks straight to deal with low fuel pressure fault/shutdown during weekly exercise. Not very confident that generator will work properly during loss of power due to these issues Contractor who installed where outstanding

Really like the product so for. All went well to hook up. Few people in the neighborhood are inquiring about the generator. The disappointment is the WIFI that has an expensive monthly charge after the first year. Will not use that option after the trial is up.
