Bought at a common big-box home improvement store for $1800 and change (including the upgraded 10 year warranty)....much cheaper than the staggering $4899 suggested list on the website. Installed easily. I did it "hot" so as not to need inspections or involve power company by pulling meter. Spent about $150 on some flex conduit, wire, fittings, etc. Had trouble getting it to connect to WiFi,. Spent two hour plus long sessions on phone with customer service ladies who were clearly working from home. They were nice ladies... friendly and did their best, but they were clearly working off a script or flowchart, and I would rather talk to someone who has had their hands dirty installing one before.. Ultimately she told me i needed 2 GHZ wifi when I was using 5 Ghz.. Bought a repeater to separate the bands and now I'm good. Also bought the option lifting hole plastic covers for a better finished appearance.

We had ours installed after the latest power outage that had us without power and running on a portable generator for 3 days. We decided we were done with the hassle of that and opted for something much more convenient and hassle-free. The generator runs great and works. Peace-of-mind is a wonderful thing.

I am so glad I had this generator installed . Being in a rural area it comes in handy I don't have to worry about my sump pump or well not working. Last winter electric went out and for the first time I was able to sit in a warm home and watch TV without worry. It was like it never happened . Thanks Generac

We received our Generac in July and used it the first time in the beginning of August. The Gererac Guardian 18kw worked great as expected. It was so nice to have electric when our neighbors were out. It let us run the air conditioner which was a plus. It was so nice to have it automatically turn on and off by itself. I Love the new Generac and so does my husband. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you Generac!!

Everything about this generator is excellent. The only two issues were we had to wait 18 months to get it installed because the dealer couldn’t get it from the factory in a timely fashion. Also I was denied the free extra warranty because I “bought it before the program date”. Even though I didn’t get it delivered to me. Not cool. The dealer did a great job on the installation.

We had to wait a year for this generator to be installed but are so happy with it. It was put to good use less than a week after install when a storm went through and power was out for about 18 hours. All our neighbors were jealous as it was in the 90's. Most of all it gives you peace of mind that if you are out of town or traveling that everything continues to run while you are away, especially if you live where there are freezing temps in the winter.

After several months of researching various generator brands I concluded that Generac was far superior to the others, especially when price is a factor. About seven months ago I finally made the purchase. I purchased a Generac 22kW standby generator with an automatic transfer switch included. We live in a rural area and have used the generator several times. Six seconds after the power goes off, like clock work, the generator comes on. Our special needs daughter lives with us and that fact alone makes a generator almost necessary. We could not be happier with our generator. I highly recommend a Generac generator.

We decided to purchase a whole house generator after the February 2021 freeze in Texas. We looked at several companies and generator brands and choose a 24KW whole house, Wi-Fi Generac. It will support our heating and cooling unit, as well as anything we may need should the power go out for any reason. We signed the contract in June and the final start-up was January 5th. A long time, but it was worth the wait! The unit is top notch and we are very happy with the product and the company that installed it. We do have one suggestion for Generac, why not make either put your logo on both sides of the unit or make both a left hand and right-hand installation so based on where the unit is installed in the yard, your logo shows. We had to install ours on the left side of the yard, so the exhaust blows away from the fence, so the Generac logo faces the fence. If we faced it with Generac showing the exhaust would blow into the eves of our house....just a thought/suggestion.

I am very happy with my new Generac generator and the stand which is sits on, allowing it to remain above the snow in the Winter. Mike and Jim who installed it for me are true professionals and I would highly recommend a Generac whokle house generator. It gives me such peace of mind having it as a backup for power outages.
