Live in Hurricane prone area, wanted backup power. Holly Electric (Lake City,FL), did the install. Install techs were James, Johnny and Dillon. Install was quick 4 hours. Mr James at Hughes Electric, Memphis Tennessee was by far the best service person that I have ever come in contact with. He was down to earth, patient and very knowledgeable. He explained everything and put me at ease with my generator. He showed up when he said he would. After the installation, and explanation, my power went out and everything he said would happen with the generator did and I’m so glad I made the purchase but appreciate all that Mr. James did to help me understand and assurance that it was a great buy. Best service experience and purchase ever.

We lost power for four days during Irma and ran off a portable generator that was wired into my panel. It also ran off my propane tank so it was a pretty good deal--didn't need to get gas, etc. However, I lost an electrical device or two and was concerned about the bigger appliances (refrigerator, A/C) having problems in the future so decided to upgrade. Other than a ding in the lid (which we didn't recognize until the electrician unpacked the item, long after shipping--how would my wife be able to inspect this upon delivery, especially since the GenPad was on TOP of the generator on delivery?), the unit was pristine. Installation was done via a local electrician who has done much work on my home over the 20 years I have been here, and my gas company handled the gas hookup. I probably did not need 22KW, but it was only a few hundred dollars more than a 17KW or 20KW, so decided what the heck. Very happy to be protected this upcoming hurricane season!

The Generic 14kw Guardian series generator is the right model for my home. Great features include the automatic switch over to generator mode, easy to understand display panel, and a Wi-Fi enabled. This is was purchased to supply power to the entire house. The local authorized dealer was easy to deal with and the staff knows the product line well. I am happy with the purchase and installation.

I purchased this generator 6 months ago and have spent more time down than running. First was the loss of rpm and won't start on a maintenance run and next the one and only time I needed it the transfer switch failed cause the factory did not fully seat the transfer coil cables. Now after I finally get the new transfer switch test it out and then today on maintenance run I get the great 1505 code and will have to wait again for a service call. Another 200 dollars to have someone come out. I hope the power doesn't go out again. Looking back I wish I never went with Generac, do your research.

I just got my Generac 22 Kw installed this week. The Dealer did a fantastic job, and from start (set the generator on the pad) to finish (Final City Inspection), it only took 4 straight business days. It was like clockwork with the Electrician, Plumber, Gas Co., and Inspector, one day right after the other. When we did the first Start-up, I was really surprised how quiet the generator was . I thought it would be a lot nosier than it was. I know it won't bother my neighbors when we all lose power in Central Florida during a Hurricane or other event. I am very pleased with my purchase, which I got at a great (and the best) value from my hometown Dealer.

Had a 7 kw Mil Bank generator for 11 yrs started to have a a lot of trouble with it they went out of business so nobody works on them , purchased a 14kw generac just had it installed today 2/8/22 so have to wait and see how it works, the company that installed it did a excellent job.

We received our Generac in July and used it the first time in the beginning of August. The Gererac Guardian 18kw worked great as expected. It was so nice to have electric when our neighbors were out. It let us run the air conditioner which was a plus. It was so nice to have it automatically turn on and off by itself. I Love the new Generac and so does my husband. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you Generac!!

After having a flooded basement I decided to get a whole house generator. I was just going to get a Generac because of their excellent reputation. I did look at the competition and they were not bad. But nothing to prove they were better than a Generac. I bit the bullet and had the 22KW whole house unit installed. The installers did a thoroughly professional job. I was very pleased. Now I was ready for anything mother nature wanted to throw at me. Well it wasn't four hours after the install was done and we had a storm come thru. We lost power and the Generac came shining thru. Came on with no problems. It was only on a short time. But that just verified that I made the right decision to choose a Generac. The mobile link option is really cool. It is nice to have an update anytime something changes with the generator. Choose Generac - I did and very Happy that I did.

It is so nice not to have to worry about going outside to hook up a portable generator. Due to a neurological condition, it is very hard/impossible for me to pull start a generator. Now I don’t have to worry about it. The power goes out and the Generac starts all by itself! Love it!
