I had the generator installed in 2024 and we had a hurricane in September of 2024, and was without electricity for over a week. My genetic worked beautifully. I just love it.

I have had this for a month. No power outages but I have tested it running the whole house with both AC units running. It's great and at a good sound level.

I bought this before Hurricane Beryl.It ran flawlessly for 49 hours. It has ran through several other power outages since. Peace of mind is well worth the price

Has been installed one year. No issues. Performs a test every two weeks. Operated properly during two brief outages, less than 15 minutes. App works well. Having a generator provides a peace of mind. Glad we had it installed.

We love this product....We had a faulty part that was trouble for almost a year but after it was narrowed down and replaced....the 22kw runs like a dream. It's a wonderful item.

Had several issues with the installation and operation of my 24Kw generac generator. Primary issue is that they say you get FREE mobile link connectivity...which is only true if you have slow, and outdated wireless connection, a 2.4 gigahertz source. If you have that you are in, if not, you pay hundreds of dollars for an upgrade, or they say to get a wifi extender that is at the slower hertz and puts a low security connection outside in your yard. Had to call Generac, which took days because "unusual phone call volume", and had to pull the information out of the help desk that the wifi must be specific to the 2.4 gigahertz. It could be another error by my installers, but research says check your wifi manual, and I never got one, and can't find it online. Other issues were time required to install, and if you going to a natural gas model, there could be a huge cost on upgrading your gas meter. The last issue is the problem with Generac's 24/7 customer support that puts you on hold. I always gave up after 20-25 minutes.

We had one installed on Cape Cod in Dec 2021, and it failed during a nor'easter in Jan 2022. Snow blows into the vents, melts, then refreezes on the air filter. Removing the air filter (as suggested by Generac's emergency service) just pushes the ice further down the power chain. Seems like a design flaw, to have no way to divert snow blowing in. When I called Generac to ask for a fix, they only offered to sell me warmers (for another few hundred $$) which may not work. Their attitude was indifferent; they claimed I was the only customer who had ever had this problem. That's a lie - my local installer had reported to them a hundred customers on Cape Cod with the same catastrophic failure during that storm. So this may work well for you if your climate is mild, but don't count on it during a winter storm with wind.

In my previous residence, I installed a Generac generator, and its reliability has consistently been exceptional. Furthermore, the maintenance process is straightforward and hassle-free. I have encountered no issues whatsoever with the Generac generator, making it a highly recommended investment.

I bought this magnificently engeneered machine in February this year. My neighbours and friends made fun of me, saying that I didn't need a generator for the entire house. The thing is, I work from home online. No power = no revenue. I own five pets. No power = no drinking water because I have a surface well. No power = no drinking water (for humans too), no flushing, no showering nor bathing. Since the installation a month ago, we have had five power outages which would have cost me five days of work. The transition to the generator power is absolutely seamless, in fact, I was not aware of any of those outages, happily working away in my home office...I learned through the neighbours' complaining about the length of time it took to reestablish power. On a couple of occasions, I could hear a 'lawnmower' going and thought to myself 'who on earth would mow the lawn under three feet of snow! Only then did I realize that the lawnmower noise was actually the generator doing its job! lol I am so glad I did not listen to my neighbours and friends! I rated four stars only because there was a set back with the installation date.

I moved to PA from CA 2 years ago and when I was doing my walk through on my new house my neighbor said that I should get a generator, the power goes out often in this area. A few months later the power went out a tree took down the power line at the end of the block. The power was out for 2 days. I ordered my Generac Generator immediately! All the homes on the block had their generators running and the lights were on. My wife and I sat on the front porch in the dark and watched the moon. Ha Ha. We have had 2 power outages since I have had the unit and it is such a great feeling to know that you don't have to sit in the dark. Well worth the investment. I did a lot of research and Generac seems to be the best system out there for homeowners.
