It has been just over 12 months since our unit was installed. I have held out this long with writing a review until such time so I could witness a real loss of main power and the automatic switch and start/load sequence work. About an hour ago we had a lightning strike which knocked out power. I jumped out my chair excited (weird I know) but finally a real event. It started and loaded in between 15 to 20 seconds which was the way I wanted it and it is doing great. When the A/C kicked on, that initial surge caused a split second RPM drop, but that is to be expected. A year ago I was hesitant with such a large dollar purchase for "maybe" and today I have no regrets. Great product. Our dealer was Optimize EGS out of Scott Louisiana. Peace be with you

We had Casey Mechanical install our 18KW generator last spring and have nothing but good things to say ever since! They arrived on time and installed the custom General pad and generator as purchased. The install was seamless as has been its operation. We have lost power in bad weather, ice storms and due to hydro problems but we have not had to go without power since it was started up. Generac and Casey Mechanical make a great team!

We live in a small town farming community. We have had high winds, fire and snow storms that have disrupted our power. The power company is usually pretty prompt getting service back on. The longest we have been without power in the last couple of years is about 9 hours. My husband is now on fully time oxygen and relies on power to run his concentrator. The generator is a safety net but most of all peace of mind for my husband.

Got the in-home product estate; agreed to terms of estimate on 13 Oct 2021; had generator installed on 22 Oct 2021; had start-up test done on 3 Nov 2021. technician explained everything exceptional well. explained about checking the oil, very professional!!! all in all I highly recommend OK Generattor ( Larrison Elec) for this product and the rest of their line-up of Whole Home Generators.

I just today had Serial Number: 000000003010512219 Unit Description: 22KW/999 GUARD-NO T/SW AL installed at my home I got the unit from local provider here in Houston, TX Wired Generators I was impressed with the workers that did the installation and being powered by natural gas I do not have the worry of filling a gasoline tank or change out a propane tank. I was also pleased with the low noise level when it was running. Last year I was without power for 11 days during freezing cooled weather and being on the Gulf Coast have hurricanes to deal with as well.

Installment was not difficult. Features are well defined. Manual not hard to read but does require someone who is knowledgeable in the electrical field, not a novice. Price was very reasonable. power went out 3 times while we were waiting for it to get hooked up. we were glad then that we had purchased this unit.

We have had 4 major power outages since the first of the year. We searched the internet for different manufactures of home standby generator systems and decided that Generac was the best value. Its appearance is good and we were pleased with the Generac certified technicians who did the installation.

Metro Electric out of Romeo, MI installed our Whole House System and did a Wonderful job from Quote to finish. Recommend them highly. Detroit Edison power is finicky, we lose power several times a year and with freezers and a Sump Pump we grimace whenever the wind blows. We had four brownouts\power losses this year, now Bring It On! We feel much better having this, saved for 12 years to buy this system.

At maximum load, the unit is very noisy. In side the house -- not problem. Outside -- big problem. We are sure I will get complaints. A fence company will be contacted with sound controlling elements to direct the noise upward to the sky, if possible. Otherwise the unit works correctly. The voltage is not at 120 VAC, but does get to 117VAC. I am not sure if that will be a problem. We can not run our electric wall oven or cloths dryer. The 5 ton AC will run with no problem, all light (all plugs), on-demand hot water heater and the two refrigerators work well. We have not tested our furnace yet. Transfer switch works quickly and power is back on in about a minute. I suggest dedicated, non-GFI for freezers and refrigerator -- when they trip, the Generac can not provide power to GFIs.

We were away last winter and had someone check our house every several days. We head a power outage and the electric company forgot to restore our power so we were lucky that the weather was above normat (not freezing). If this had happened a month later we would have had considerable damage. My only negative for Generac is that the propane monitoring system only works in the USA so it is an option we cannot use.
