Sam's is where you find the BEST CUTS!!

Sam's Club butcher's shine!! Good looking cuts and just the right amount of fat left to give the steak good flavor. My Dad was a specialty cut butcher and he showed me what to look for in my steaks. You know, Sam's Club butchers ALWAYS meet the expectation. For our special occasions, I come to Sam's to get tbe best.

Not reliable, confusing.

Not sure which one was which as we bought several. We had the meat in the fridge and the next day it was brown and smelled weird. Then we cooked another one recently after it being in our freezer and it tasted like roast beef, not steak. However, I am sure we paid for steak. Disappointing.

Perfection

Member’s Mark delivers top-notch quality with their USDA Choice Angus Beef Boneless NY Strip Steak. The marbling is excellent, providing rich flavor and tenderness with every bite. Whether you’re grilling, pan-searing, or broiling, these steaks cook evenly and come out juicy and flavorful. You can really taste the quality—comparable to what you'd get at a steakhouse, but for a much better price. Ideal for a weekend cookout or a weeknight indulgence, they’re consistently fresh and trimmed well. For meat lovers who want premium beef without the premium price tag, this is a go-to choice. Simply seasoned, they're absolutely amazing.

Single and spoiled

Happy Valentines Day to Me, What a wonderful way to spoil yourself and children on Valentines Day. I purchase these every Valentines Day and they are amazing. Instead of going out and fighting the crowd we stay at home and prepare a amazing dinner. Thanks Sams Clu for making it so easy to pick up and go.

Usually very good

These were a little below par—usually tasty, gristle-free steaks, great for grilling. This time they were higher in gristle and texture not what I expect from choice angus beef. Hard to cut, hard to chew, and only moderately flavorful. Disappointing!

My favorite steak!

I recently had the pleasure of trying the USDA Choice Boneless New York Strip Steak from Sam's Club, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. As a steak enthusiast, I often seek out quality cuts that offer both flavor and tenderness, and this product did not disappoint. Packaging and Presentation: The steaks were well-packaged, vacuum-sealed to maintain freshness. Upon opening, I was greeted with a beautiful cut of meat, showcasing a rich marbling that is characteristic of a quality New York strip. The color was a vibrant red, indicating freshness, and there was minimal excess liquid in the packaging, which is always a good sign. Cooking: Following the instructions for cooking, I decided to grill the steaks to perfection. I seasoned them simply with salt and pepper to allow the natural flavors to shine through. The marbling melted away during cooking, basting the meat and creating a delicious crust. I cooked them to medium-rare, and the sear was absolutely mouthwatering. Flavor and Texture: The first bite was heavenly. The flavor profile was rich and beefy, with just the right amount of tenderness. Each cut was juicy, and the marbling contributed to a fantastic melt-in-your-mouth experience. It’s evident that the USDA Choice grading is well-deserved; the steak offered incredible taste without being overly fatty. Value: Considering the quality of the meat, I found the price to be quite reasonable. Sam's Club often provides good bulk deals, making it a great option for families or those who enjoy hosting barbecues. The value you get for the quality is outstanding compared to purchasing similar cuts at other grocery stores or butchers. Overall Experience: In summary, the USDA Choice Boneless New York Strip Steak from Sam's Club is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enjoy a high-quality steak experience at home. Whether you're an experienced griller or a novice cook, you can't go wrong with this flavorful cut. I would definitely recommend it to fellow steak lovers and plan to purchase it again for special occasions or weekend dinners. If you want steakhouse quality in your own kitchen, this product is worth trying!

A little more tough than I had expected

The steak was actually pretty tough and we grilled it and used marinated prior to cooking. I know at times you can get a bad steak or a good one. It’s happened to me at different meat markets as well. Although, I think we shall continue to buy our meet at West-Side Market in Rocky Hill.

Always good

We are not experienced cooks and these ribeyes turn out great every time. We had stopped buying steak for a while until we realized we just needed to skip getting them from our local chain grocery store and only buy our steak at Sam’s. Now we can make great tasting steak at home!

steaks are great value but they have gone from almost 4 lb packages to less than 2 lb yet they do not update the pricing on here. The last time I got a package it was two small steaks that were under a pound and a half. not really what you think of when you think about buying in bulk.

Chopped Up Chops

These pork chops were not full chops but rather pieces formed together which we called pork tenders. Aside from that which may be atypical, they were exactly the right thickness and were cooked, we had them broiled or grilled, to perfection. We will be looking for them again.
