Bought this is 2022 for a John Deere D140 that I use maybe twice a summer. I keep it on an automatic trickle charger. Tried to use the mower yesterday and found the battery totally dead. Thought my trickle charger fuse was blown but it wasn't. Hooked the battery up to a dedicated charger and it didn't recognize the battery. Took out my multimeter and it doesn't even have continuity between the terminals. Not worth it for me.

My first Duracell battery was purchased on 8/11/2016 and lasted until 5/3/2021 when I bought another. Since buying a smart charger in 2018, I routinely use it to charge the Duracell periodically throughout the year in addition to when I service my lawnmower. The smart charger cleans the lead plates of sulfate thus restoring lost voltage. Failure to maintain your battery will result in a shorter battery life.

Disapponted in Sams Club for offering such a poor product. Bought this battery in March 2018 to replace a different brand from auto part store that lasted about 5 years, at a similar price point. It is now May 2019, battery is dead and will not accept a charge from my charger/conditioner. Was stored inside for the winter, and charged prior to first use of this cutting season.

I bought mine 2/21 but only used my rider 6, 7 times summer of 2021, and same for 2022. Already deader than a doornail. Have had to recharge it about 6, 7 times. I can't recommend it, but who makes a good lawnmower battery, they all seem to be weak.

The failure of the Briggs & Stratton "compression release canshaft" is giving riding mower batteries a bad reputation. Your battery didn't fail, your Briggs compression release failed and the torque resistance required to start your engine overcame your battery. (It's a starter motor killer too)

When I needed a new battery for yard tractor, since this was the first one that I had ever purchased, I spend some time checking out the local market. This particular battery was the best buy that I found. Good warranty--for a lawn tractor battery--good cold cranking hour rating and a very good price.

My John Deere's battery failed to crank my mower today. I hooked a jumper to the battery and it cranked right up. But I shut the mower off and connected my battery charger. It will not charge. The battery is a Duracell EU1L 365 CCA.I installed it in September of 2017. I will be at Sam's Monday morning to try and get another just like it. 7 years of starts! Can't ask for more than that.

I bought one new in April 2016 and only need to replace it this year, 7 years later. 7 years! I charged it a couple times during each winter, usually around end of Dec and again at end of Feb. I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. Maybe I just got a good one? My 2016 version was 275 CCA. Not sure what the CCA is on these now. I see the cheaper brands at other places are as little as 215 CCA for around same price as these at Sam's.

Mine finally died at 1 month shy of 9 years. Kubota 1560t mower, South Dakota, stored outside. Are they still top quality?I don't know? My other mower/snow blower with Napa Deka also recently died, at about 4 years. My small Duracell batteries have been leaking, so???

I was glad that Sams carried Duracell batteries for my tractor. Works great
