This unit is a must have for large families, we have a very active family of 6 and keeping up with the constant bombardment of dirty clothes, linens and school and sports uniforms is a daunting task. This LG all in one washer dryer has been such a time saver for us! We added this machine as a supplement to our existing, 30+ year old traditional washer and dryer, and it has quickly become our go to for everything. Pretty soon those 30 year old units will be replaced with a second LG Combo Washer/Dryer. The ThinQ app is super easy to use with thoughtful features. I never thought that I would want more notifications, but knowing the status of your laundry when away (or at home) is actually very nice. Being able to through in a load of laundry without any worry of switching is great. No more rewashing, no more adding additional drying time, the AI Wash and Dry feature takes care of everything. No venting and 120 Volts!! Installation couldn't have been easier and more convenient. This unit could literally be installed almost anywhere and we are now considering one at our family cabin as well. Almost forgot to mention.... it's beautiful! and incredibly quiet. Highly recommend this technology for anyone who is in the market for washer and dryer.

I can put my clothes in there set the cycle and don't worry about. You can also check the app to check on cycles. It also sends updates. The only thing i wish there was a low heat temperature but i use the energysaver mode. Overall, i love the room i can save also..

It makes washing/drying so easy with the AI setting combined with ezDispense and just pretty much set it and forget it. There's no better saying for it. After about 2.5 hours or less ThinQ will notify you on your phone and just take the clothes out and fold them, just awesome. I really love the sleek design with the display in the knob. It can just blend into any wash room not only because of how it looks but also because its ventless! All in all I am very happy with the washer/dryer combo.

What can I say? This washer/dryer combo has far exceeded my expectations. I can put in a load and not have to worry about leaving it and then having to redo it, because I forgot it. I’ve thought about getting one of these for so long, and I truly wish I had done it so much earlier. I couldn’t recommend this more for anyone. The convenience alone is worth every single penny.

The LG WashCombo™ 5.0 cu. ft. All-in-One is a space-saving, energy-efficient washer/dryer with Inverter HeatPump™ tech and smart AI settings. It cleans well and is super quiet, but drying takes longer, especially for bulky items. Perfect for small spaces, but expect some trial and error with settings.

The idea of this product is great, but the performance is mediocre at best. I have a family of 5 and was so excited because I thought this machine would be a life saver.. You have to do very small loads or it does not get dry. Even on a “heavy soil” cycle it’s not great at actually getting your laundry clean. There is always some kind of problem with it. (Mine is leaking right now) If you have any animals DO NOT buy this. A minimal amount of dog hair will stop it up. I have to run tub clean once a week and my dogs are rarely even in the house. Towels; you better set aside about 5-6 hours for a small to medium size load. Over all EXTREMELY disappointed in this product for the price….

Bought Oct 2024. replaced LG traditional front load laundry set, 14 years old. they were working great, but the age was concerning me. So have read the negative reviews and I wonder if some really own one of these units. For me its 1 person in the home, retired. So nice not to have to swap load to dryer, or even forget to swap. I do 2 loads a week. Noise - about the same as traditional set. Spin however is waaayyy smoother. Drying makes a different sound, bit louder than just the tumble of a traditional dryer. Its on the main floor of the house, and don't find the overall noise objectionable. Wash - Not even slightly ... very much noticeably better cleaning than my traditional LG front load team (entry-tier models) Drying - Clothes come out dry. Towels, hoodies, jeans. Always a mixed load, and always dry. I believe the supplementary heating element has a factor in that. By folks saying' they dont get dry clothes', I dunno what they are doing different. Cycle - have only tried, and likely only ever use AI wash & dry cycle. It should be the default, but I have to pick it. Time - queen sheet set, and a couple towels, 2 hours. Mixed load of darks, towels, jeans, hoodies, shirts, underwear & socks. 3 hours. Add-ons - got the matching base unit, primarily to raise the door for easier access. Cost savings - likely ... however the only one I can attest to is the vent free dryer tech. No constantly blowing a large volume of air out of the home for an hour approx. causing infiltration throughout the home as makeup air. Safety - no vent pipe and outside vent cover constantly building up lint (though over time this may be an internal machine issue TBD)

Great convenience with large washing chamber and larger compartments for detergent and fabric softerner that last for several loads before refills are needed. I would have given 5 stars but the dry cycle does not provide sufficient heat to dry clothes, extra cycle is needed to completely dry them. Overall, I'm happy with the unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely satisfied with my new washer/dryer combo. I was skeptical at first and actually didn’t want to learn a new appliance nor read a 59 page manual. Fear not my friends! It’s actually pretty easy to use! I was also skeptical when I saw that it had a run time of 3 hours to do both the washing and drying. After using it for a while now I realized it actually saves me time. I never was on top of the wash cycle with my old unit anyway and probably would not get to it when it was exactly done OR forget I had clothes that need to be switched to the dryer so I would have to re-wash the clothes. Now I can leave the house for work and it’s completely done by the time I get home. I’ve also used the wash only cycle to remove some clothes I wanted to air dry and continue with drying. But honestly I trust it now more to do both because the dryer is so gentle on my clothes. It doesn’t over dry them, nor shrink them. I do use the app it comes with to tell me when the cycle has finished and that’s a cool feature. It’s big enough to wash a fluffy comforter and it’s delicate enough to take care of a cashmere sweater (not drying of course). The other cool bit is the automatic detergent dispenser. You fill a chamber and you never need to think about it, at least for 30 some odd loads. My old machine had liquid soap all over it and I always managed to spill a bit of detergent in the fabric softer area. Not anymore! The machine itself is solid and extremely quiet. We live in a small brownstone and space and storage is always a problem. This machine works well in small spaces! We did purchase the storage drawer as an added accessory, and I recommend doing that. Keeps everything nice and tidy and raises the machine a bit. This appliance has totally changed the “dreaded doing laundry day”. Only if it could fold and put the clothes away! Bravo LG!

We already have existing LG laundry pair but wanted to add additional machine. This all in one laundry machine is perfect solution. We had the space for adding it to our mud room and all it needs is regular outlet and it’s ventless. I added it to my thin Q app and it’s the most convenient machine I have ever used.
