Customer reviews for LG 5.0 cu. ft. All-in-One Washer & Dryer Combo w/ Inverter HeatPump Technology forSo far so good!
I was #gifted this product as part of a promotion on social media but the thoughts expressed here are based on my own personal experience with the WashCombo over the last month since I installed it! This unit was the right fit for the super small laundry space that we have on the first floor. It works perfectly there allowing for the rest of the space to be used as storage. It also does not require you to hook it up through a vent, as the water from the drying process is pumped out of the drain line (genius!). The first few loads came out smelling a little like rubber from the gaskets but that resolved quickly. I have run loads of different sizes (about one per day) and the dry times have varied from 2 hours for smaller loads to 3 hours for medium size loads to 4 hours for towels. One of my favorite things is putting in the wash before bed and waking up to my laundry being finished! I know everyone wants instant gratification these days but even at a wash/dry cycle time of 3 hours I can get 4-5 loads of laundry done during waking hours, if necessary (plus one overnight).
Just load then fold
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are super pleased with the wash combo unit. Its is super stylish, compact and with so many features. All we have to do is load the unit, set it to wash and dry and come back later when its done. No more unloading washer and reloading into dryer. We love the self dispense soap and softener feature. So many cycle options. We struggled at first with unit as we were unfamiliar with this type of unit but have adjusted our way of laundry to match the unit. We have found it to wash well and dry fully when used correctly. If your considering this unit understand you may need to adjust your way of doing laundry. When you do you will realize what a fabulous machine this is. Looking forward to your next LG wondermachine.
Issue
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this combo machine looks ok but when it starts the cycle doesn’t take detergent by itself we have to put it different way the book says it takes detergent automatically which doesn’t happen

Surpassed every expectation!
We have been extremely pleased with the LG WashCombo All in One unit. We were initially a little nervous to use an all in one machine but it has surpassed all expectations. We can wash a load of laundry from start to finish in only a couple short hours without pausing what we are doing to switch them from washer to dryer- which is a big timesaver when you have 3 kids! I am pleased with how large the unit is- we have washed every type of load from blankets (king size bed) to baby clothes and everything fits so seamlessly. With many different types of laundry, the ease of choosing the load type & dispensper from the app is a game changer! For the parents out there- it's a totally different ballgame to not have to load soap into the unit every load with the intelligence built in. We are actively finding ways to use less energy in our home and this fit that need with it's energy efficiency standards. The ventless and compact design was able to save us much needed space in our small laundry room. Overall- we would choose this unit over and over again! Great job, LG!

WashCombo = GAME CHANGER
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where has this been all my life?! It's like having a personal laundry assistant. You put in the laundry and less than two hours later it's CLEAN AND DRY. Plus, the unit fits so many clothes. It's truly the perfect unit for our family.
Great idea, but needs a lot of improvement
I've used this device for a couple of months. It is indeed convenient not to have to shuttle clothes between two devices. But, this machine takes 3 or 4 hours to wash and dry a 2/3 load of clothes. It appears to me the heating element for the dryer is significantly under engineered.

Waste of 3k Don’t Purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The worst machine you could buy. Purchased it 3 weeks ago. The machine wouldn’t stop drying it would get to 4 minutes and just keep running after 12 hours of being out of the house thinking I’ll get home and my clothes would be dry and machine off NO the machine still running and clothes still wet. I call LG they tell me I need to do an update still didn’t fix the problem. Call Lg back they send someone out they tell me it needs new parts they change the parts still didn’t fix it. I ended up returning the machine 3k worth of garbage

Good product overall
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is good just takes a while to wash and dry a huge load. I purchased it for my triplex and I’m considering having to buy another one so each tenant don’t have to wait all day for one or the other to use it
Amazing Combo Unit, but Dry Times are Long
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love it, never get moldy clothes and never lose time if I forget to move things to the dryer. It does an excellent job, the delicate cycle is extremely delicate, and I love the ability to just fill it up with detergent and rarely need to refill it. I will say that the interface is a little weird, the app is useful for setting it up. The drying times are a lot longer than a regular dryer. I got this unit for my family and they opted to keep the regular dryer. If we are really processing a lot of laundry in a quick time we pull the clothes out of this and put it in the dryer while running a wash+dry cycle on this. I also find it weird it is not straight forward to reduce drying temp. I like lower drying temps on certain cycles. I'll also say the AI wash and dry cycle is pretty stingy on detergent and not as dry. It really tries to save on power and water, but I prefer the normal and delicate cycles. Overall, very happy. Well build, wonderful finish, works as advertised and lets you just toss clothes in at night or while on a trip and to come back to clean clothes.
Great features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the LG Wash Combo and I couldn't be happier with my decision! This unit has been a game-changer in my laundry routine. The design is sleek and modern, fitting perfectly in my space without taking up too much room. What I love most is the efficiency – clothes come out fresh and clean every time, and the drying function is equally impressive. It handles everything from delicate fabrics to heavy-duty loads with ease. The intuitive controls make it a breeze to operate, and the various settings allow for customization based on the type of laundry. One standout feature is the quiet operation. Even when running at full capacity, the noise level is minimal, which is a huge plus for my household. Additionally, the energy efficiency has noticeably reduced my utility bills, making this an eco-friendly and cost-effective choice. Overall, this Wash Combo has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable, high-performing washer and dryer combo.
