Very nice block. Knives come razor sharp. I appreciate the self-sharpening feature. Note sharpening does not apply to the steak knives. The block is a bit longer than other knife blocks but makes a fine addition.

Nice knives, I love that they are sharpened just by putting them in the block. The block is very long and feels a little unnecessarily deep, but overall I’m very happy with the knives and the block.

Henckels is such a reliable and solid brand. Almost everyone I know owns a set of Henckels and can swear by its quality. I’ve been using this set for about month now and it’s an absolute work horse for all of my kitchen needs.

This set of knives is amazing. I used the chef knife to trim ribbs and I have to say that these our hands down some of the best knives that I’ve ever used. The trimming process was so effortless as these knives cut like butter. The weight is perfect. I’m also very excited to use the built in sharpeners. I would definitely recommend this set!!!

Wow… I really wasn’t sure about this knife set being good but all I can say is I was wrong. I’ll start with its slim design. Such a good nice fit on the counter. Aesthetically it is really nice. The handles have a really nice grip, which is great! But the sharpness of the knives is really where the gold is at. I was able to chop chicken effortlessly. It was like cutting butter. Tomatoes too. I love this set and so happy with it.

The top of one knife rusted the very first time my husband washed it in the dishwasher. The knives don't always cut food which we always cut. And the scissors are too short to cut through some things. Wish there was a paring knife and wish I had not bought this set. Our old worn-out set which we have had for years is still much better than this.

The set includes bread, chef’s, paring, santoku, serrated utility knives as well as 6 steak knives and a pair of food shears. You can accomplish any chef’s needs with this versatile set. You can chop vegetables, cut bread, peel fruit, slice steak, clean fish, and do anything else in between. The knives are very sharp and three of them (Santoku, Chef’s and paring) have ceramic self-sharpening slots (see picture), which is super helpful as these knives are used for most tasks. These knives are easy to clean as they are made from one piece of metal and don’t have separation between blade and handle. The handle fits nice in my hand and does not slip. The only two drawbacks that I could notice are: 1) The block is a bit long and might require more counter space, 2) The knives should be hand washed promptly and dried thoroughly to maintain their appearance and prevent rust. Overall, for the price, it is a very nice looking and multifaceted knife set.

This set looks really nice on my counter top, a bit big but fits fine! Love that it’s all one piece no wooden handles for food to get stuck in. Sharp and comfortable to use, and the self sharpening feature is a great bonus. I never put my knives in the dishwasher, always hand wash and dry. Didn’t get the chance to use the steak knives yet but it seems the whole set is great!
