I was unable to really see the knives or get a feel for them as they were in the box. From the picture on the box, it looked like the blades were not serrated, so I bought them. It turns out most of the blades are serrated, which I don't like at all. Lesson learned.

These knives are beautiful! The weight of them makes them feel like great quality that will last a long time. They have a self sharpening feature built into the block that will sharpen as you remove or replace them. The sharpening feature is built in for the knives that dont have serrated edges, so they will stay sharp with no additional effort to sharpen from you. Although they do come very sharp from sams (beware, i cut myself while cleaning one of the knives) they also feature divots in the handles for a "non slip" feel that is comfortable to cut with. The only downside is that they do take up some space on the counter because the block is large by design. Overall i do love the look and feel of this beautiful knife set!

Originally heard about these from a family friend and when I got to use them I was amazed and decided they this was a very much a need. Knowing and having a knife that never diminishes or goes null, keeps the mind at ease. Truly impressed and strongly recommended it for others or those who are constantly using knives, especially someone who is a novice (like me).

Would definitely purchase again.

The knives cut great, but the handles and blades rusted immediately.

These knives are extremely underwhelming. All the steak knives do is tear. No cutting, just tearing. All the knives feel hollow and very light weight. No heft or any good weight to their feel. The storage block takes up so much counter space as well. The other knives besides the steak knives cut fine. Nothing special, but fine. And I don't really feel like the built-in sharpeners are really all that beneficial. If you are considering these knives, I would recommend either spending more on a better set or saving your money and getting a less expensive Cuisinart set. I bought a set of 4 Cuisinart steak knives that cut and feel fantastic, and I only paid $15 for those! Long story short, I regret this purchase and would not recommend these knives to anyone.

They rusted after the first wash. Hand washed only.

Great knives and the self sharpening is a great feature.

Very nice block. Knives come razor sharp. I appreciate the self-sharpening feature. Note sharpening does not apply to the steak knives. The block is a bit longer than other knife blocks but makes a fine addition.

Nice knives, I love that they are sharpened just by putting them in the block. The block is very long and feels a little unnecessarily deep, but overall I’m very happy with the knives and the block.
