These are my FAVORITE kitchen tools!! The knives and scissors are precise and make cutting while cooking a breeze!! Wish I had them sooner!! They are not heavy to the touch and cut through fruits and vegetables with ease!

Originally heard about these from a family friend and when I got to use them I was amazed and decided they this was a very much a need. Knowing and having a knife that never diminishes or goes null, keeps the mind at ease. Truly impressed and strongly recommended it for others or those who are constantly using knives, especially someone who is a novice (like me).

These knives are beautiful! The weight of them makes them feel like great quality that will last a long time. They have a self sharpening feature built into the block that will sharpen as you remove or replace them. The sharpening feature is built in for the knives that dont have serrated edges, so they will stay sharp with no additional effort to sharpen from you. Although they do come very sharp from sams (beware, i cut myself while cleaning one of the knives) they also feature divots in the handles for a "non slip" feel that is comfortable to cut with. The only downside is that they do take up some space on the counter because the block is large by design. Overall i do love the look and feel of this beautiful knife set!

This set of knives is amazing. I used the chef knife to trim ribbs and I have to say that these our hands down some of the best knives that I’ve ever used. The trimming process was so effortless as these knives cut like butter. The weight is perfect. I’m also very excited to use the built in sharpeners. I would definitely recommend this set!!!

Prior to grabbing this set, my family had another set of Henckels knives that were very similar. We wanted to grab another set of Henchels again due to the quality of the knives. Firstly, they last almost forever and are very tough. The blades themselves are high quality. The steak knife blades are serrated. The set comes with a very nice looking block. The knives themselves have stainless steel handles and are very comfortable to hold. Would recommend.

these are very sharp knives. I formerly have had Pampered Chef cutlery, and these are very comparable. I like how they cut through food easily. The shears are also nice and sharp. The sharpening feature of the knife block is a nice addition, so you don't need an additional knife sharpener.

Wow… I really wasn’t sure about this knife set being good but all I can say is I was wrong. I’ll start with its slim design. Such a good nice fit on the counter. Aesthetically it is really nice. The handles have a really nice grip, which is great! But the sharpness of the knives is really where the gold is at. I was able to chop chicken effortlessly. It was like cutting butter. Tomatoes too. I love this set and so happy with it.

This 13 piece self sharpening knife block is amazing. It comes with every piece you'd need to cook any meal. I love the self sharpening element so they stay sharp for life! The knives and block are great quality and the color of the block matches with any kitchen decor!

I needed a set that didn't look dated or cheap. I found that and much more in this set besides being german stainless steel. The 13-pc set is an exceptional value for the amount of items included. The knives are well made. They are balanced, strong, and very sharp. The self-sharpening block is a added bonus to this set. It will help to prolong the life of each knife. The fact that the block wood look and is labeled to ensure that each knife is stored and subsequently sharpened according to their individual specifications. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

This Henckels Diamond 13-Piece Self-Sharpening Knife Block Set is a modern, slick looking set with metal/acacia wood block. The set includes bread, chef’s, paring, santoku, serrated utility knives as well as 6 steak knives and a pair of food shears. You can accomplish any chef’s needs with this versatile set. You can chop vegetables, cut bread, peel fruit, slice steak, clean fish, and do anything else in between. The knives are very sharp and three of them (Santoku, Chef’s and paring) have ceramic self-sharpening slots (see picture), which is super helpful as these knives are used for most tasks. These knives are easy to clean as they are made from one piece of metal and don’t have separation between blade and handle. The handle fits nice in my hand and does not slip. The only two drawbacks that I could notice are: 1) The block is a bit long and might require more counter space, 2) The knives should be hand washed promptly and dried thoroughly to maintain their appearance and prevent rust. Overall, for the price, it is a very nice looking and multifaceted knife set.
