Cool features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this fridge in our home for a couple of weeks now and it's been great! It even has an app, though that's not really for me. Overall, it has been a great purchase!
GREAT FRIDGERATOR WITH NICE OPTIONS.

Major design flaws. giving a single star too much
So I bought one and shortly after the warrantee expired the ice maker froze solid. I thought it was something I did. Defrosted it and not long after it froze again. Not long after that it started making a buzzing sound. Turns out the coil in the back was frozen solid too. another defrost... the last time I used the ice maker it broke something so that does not work anymore. pretty much now I need to power off weekly to defrost the back Coils ... This was the most expensive fridge I have ever bought and it's been the works quality of any appliance I have owned...

Run Away! Do Not Buy
french door with flex drawer. the ice maker does not work on a consistent basis. want a 5:00 cocktail? oh sorry- no ice! the shelves can be difficult to move and a nightmare to clean. some areas are not cleanable. the freezer drawer -to open the freezer. i'm afraid the handle will fall off i have to pull so hard. oh, and the flex zone is not a freezer drawer, so don't buy this thinking you'll have extra freezer space.

Great Fridge with Terrible Ice Maker
Overall, the refrigerator is good, however the ice maker is absolutely terrible. There is almost no point to the ice maker as it just mostly plastic and doesn't actual give you ice. When the ice does come out it's like a rocket ship which misses your glass and falls to the floor. Samsung really missed the mark here.

If your ice maker is making too much ice when it's running, it's possible that the ice bucket is not inserted correctly. It allows ice to spill out of the bucket before it piles high enough to be detected by the ice maker. Make sure your ice bucket is inserted correctly. You can refer to your user manual if needed. Cleaning nightmare
Enjoy pulling your hair out trying to remove the drawers to clean this thing. Removal steps are missing from the instructions, The clips are hidden, can't be depressed with your fingers requiring a flat head screw driver to do so, they easily break. Then once you finally get the clips pressed the drawer itself doesn't just slide out, you'll have to remove the condiment drawers first and then MAYBE they'll come out. But will require a ton of twisting and jerking.

Do NOT purchase this refrigerator!
This refrigerator gets one star for looking nice. Otherwise, I regret this purchase. Thank goodness I purchased a 5 year warranty. I bought this refrigerator in July 2021. It is now December 2023 - I am on my 3rd ice maker. Recently, water began to leak under the fruit & vegetable drawers, filling up the middle drawer. Tech came 4 days ago and said that it was because we used a water filter that is not Samsung brand. He replaced it with a Samsung filter... I spent tonight dumping and wiping water out of the fridge. FOUR service calls in 2.5 years for a brand new refrigerator is unacceptable, Samsung!

FRIDGE ARCS TRIPS BRKR SAMSUNG DOESN'T CARE
after 1 year of use this fridge now keeps tripping the arc fault breaker (required by law). after several attempts to have samsung fix the fridge, they want me to use a different breaker (not allowed by law) for this fridge. they say that the fridge is working fine, the breaker is the problem.

Nice design, poor implementation
About 2 years old now. Ice maker has not held up and every power outage the electronics will not reset properly. Love the general design. Very unhappy with the design of the electronics and associated operating system. Samsung also is not helpful with any diagnostics after a power interruption for getting the thing to reset- figured out how to do it with a Google search, but they wanted to send a a repair technician at my expense the two times I tried to use their services. Maybe some six sigma quality work is warranted here
