[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Frig of the same brand and style. The main reason I am only doing 4 stars is because of how the last one died and found out it would cost as much to fix as it would to buy a brand new unit. Although, I will say it is not just Samsung doing this it is all of them. The days of these items lasting 15 to 20 years is over, now you can expect much closer to 5 years and then replace.

I really like everything about this Samsung Refrigerator - except the ice maker. It's fine, it just doesn't keep up on the occasion of heavier use. Before purchasing I read the reviews and am aware of negative comments regarding the ice maker but purchased anyway.

Refrigerator is sleek and stylish. It definitely adds an upscale look. For our large family the size is great. I really like having the refrigerator on top and freezer on bottom. The flex drawer allows you to organize to best suit your needs. This is our first experience with a pullout freezer. It is very sturdy. There is a slide above the freezer space that provides additional organization options. The only downfall is ice maker. It does not produce enough ice to meet our daily needs and we are resorting to ice trays.

Had a Samsung French Door model with in door ice dispenser. Ice maker nothing but trouble. Unit was declared unreliable. Samsung got me a new one. Ice dispenser light doesn't work. My old unit light worked. Was told my model discontinued light. Light bulb is in unit. This sucks!

I purchased this refrigerator with great anticipation in 2021. I even purchased the extended warranty. Since the purchase the ice maker has been replaced twice and is constantly needing repair. The extended warranty ran out so I had to pay to have it replaced the 2nd time. And it is going out again (by now i can tell when it's going out). It is just over 4 years old and already needing its 3rd ice maker. I called Samsung and they will not cover the cost to repair it or the part. After paying for the extended warranty AND paying to have it replaced I don't want to pay again; especially if it only lasts for 1.5 years. I wa so disappointed in Samsung. I had purchased other products for a rental property and also for their family members. But NO MORE. I can't continue to support them when they don't own up to an obvious defect. I can't recommend this product or their customer service. I was always a Samsung supporter but no more.

This fridge would be great if the ice maker worked properly. The middle drawer is a feature that I never knew I needed but now I wouldn't be able to do without.

After having this for a couple of yrs the ice maker is constantly icing over, no matter what you do it it will still frost over & stop making ice. So far no solution has been found other then other people stating things a known issue with these fridges.

Another Samsung ice maker story. On my 3rd service call, but each time have to order a part so each service call requires me to stay home twice and wait. Fridge is 4 years old and ice maker starts leaking down front, leaking inside, freezes up and stops working. Been doing this for 6 months now. Too much time wasted with this unreliable appliance. There is a Facebook group with over 100,000 members complaining about same issue. How can they continue to sell this flawed design. Ice makers belong in freezer and not in fridge and they know that.

I am so disappointed for continual problems with ice maker freezing up and not being able to even remove the tray to defrost. Definitely a design problem Samsung should remedy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fell in love with this refrigerator in the store. Shortly after we purchased it, the icemaker quit. $250 repairs didn't last long. Veggies in crisper were partially frozen and ice crystals formed in freezer drawer. Then the icemaker quit again. Warranty doesn't mean much when the service call costs $200+ I'd never purchase another Samsung appliance nor recommend one. We've had it 2 years and paid for 2 service calls. Two other family members have the exact model refrigerator and have experienced the same problems.
