Great Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this fridge, it keeps my food cold and makes sure it don't go bad. I love the flex drawers and how you can adjust it for refrigeration or freezing food. With the ability to store a lot of food, and able to keep a nice look, this is a very good option for families.

Looks great, ice maker is a pain

Great looking unit with customizable features. Horrible ice maker that I can't fix. I have followed all user guide suggestions, watched YouTube videos and surfed reddit trying to find a solution. Really disappointed as this is only a couple years old

Beware!

Buyers be careful! The fridge overall is great, however the ice maker is trash!!! It freezes and will not produce any ice. You'll need to constantly use a hair dryer to melt the ice so that the ice maker works. If you figure this out later after the warranty expires like I did. Samsung will not help you and you will be stuck with an ice maker that doesn't work. I have to use a portable ice maker for ice because my French door fridge is trash!

Improvements needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tray for the water / ice dispenser should be deeper to catch any water or ice that may spill or melt ( too shallow). The shelves inside are spaced poorly for 1 gallon milk containers ( even moving it leaves no space for other items.

Great Samsung Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old Samsung fridge got very "long in the tooth", so we decided up update. We looked at other brands and various styles. We ended up with another Samsung, just a 4-door model similar to our old unit. We were surprised at how roomy it was inside. We assumed it might be less roomy than our former 3 door model but we were wrong. It is quiet and the Flex drawer fits our lifestyle perfectly. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Love this fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this fridge. It is very roomy and look great in my kitchen. I had always been reluctant to buy a bottom freezer refrigerator because I wasn't sure how much it could hold or whether I can locate items easily. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount this one will hold. The flex drawer is a nice touch. The only drawback if I had to give one is the ice bin doesn't hold as much as my old side by side, but still a decent amount. Other than that, I am glad I purchased.

Nice appearance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I am pleased with this refrigerator. No issues with cooling in the center section as some reviews have stated. The exterior is easy to keep fingerprints clean and is designed well in my opinion. The only issue I have is with the ice maker freezing up on oceans requires you to unclog it.

DON'T BUY A SAMSUNG FRIDGE

We have loved Samsung electronics so we decided to buy a Samsung fridge. We loved this fridge and it ran great for 18 months. Then it died one day--this was 7 months ago. Since we still had a warranty, the company has refused to replace it but try to fix it. 6 compressors, 10+ motherboards, a new ice maker, and freezer fan later, it still isn't fixed and they still refuse to replace it. We have had repairman at our house over 10 times for the same issues. During these 7 months, we have been without a working fridge going on 3 months now. Samsung refuses to replace even though it is clearly a lemon. We have since read many reviews that say similar things. Because of this, we won't buy another Samsung product again--which is sad because we did love their products until this fridge purchase. When we have to replace all of our other Samsung products, it will be another company.

Faulty ice maker

Do not recommend. The process to replace the water filter is ridiculous. I hurt myself every time. As I'm writing this I just broke a freaking nail. The ice maker is a known issue and they refuse to acknowledge it or replace it. Instead they want to charge me to send a tech out.

Bad Freezer

I have had this refrigerator for 3 years and have had 3 repairs on the icemaker. The ice cubes get frosty, somehow warm air gets into the icemaker. It just stopped working again. Very disruptive and expensive to repair. Bad design on Samsung's part.
