Lots of room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our new fridge about a month ago and we absolutely love it! Only one complaint. There is no light for the water/ ice dispenser. There is a spot for it but it is not included in it fridge. I had a tech come out and this is what he told bee cause I thought it was broken.

total disappointment

The ice maker in this refrigerator is horrible. If you are a family that uses a lot of ice, save yourself frustration and disappointment and DO NOT BUY! I wish we hadn't. Unfortunately we needed a replacement right before Christmas and didn't have time to check reviews or research.

Glass half full (almost)

Same complaint as others. Ice maker is garbage! Had it for about a year and it was stuck on crushed ice. Then the hopper would clog and drip all over. Another 6 months and the freezing up would start. Chipping away at the ice in the back was sometimes helpful but unplugging and thawing was the only sure fire way (mind you we owned it for only 2 years at this point). By year 3 we now buy ice at the store and pour it into the bucket for “dispensing”. Oh and BTW good luck getting the filter out to change. That took an hour of YouTube and prying with multiple screwdrivers. After the first one I got water delivery. That said, it cools well and it is smudge proof, so… half full??

Hard to clean

Bought 2years ago. Looked great with lots of handy item. But not functional. The bottom tray is nearly impossible to take off and traps everything. Every drawer must be disassembled to get the debris that miraculously gets trapped. I do not recommend this refrigerator to anyone who. Cares about cleanliness

Terrible Product

For the amount i spent on this refrigerator I was expecting a bit better quality. It scrathes SO easily and as for not being able to see fingerprints...psh..yeah right. You can see every single time someone touches the doors. As for the absolute WORST part of this fridge is the ice maker. Whats the point of giving me options for crushed versus cubed? IT ALL COMES OUT CRUSHED!! ALWAYS...The configuration of the shelves is awful as well, not much to customize inside because there isnt enough space. Terrible.Highly disappointed. I will never buy a Samsung appliance again.

Great refrigerator if you dont need an ice maker.

We are on our third ice maker on our RF28JBEDBSGG/AA and both repairmen have stated that this is a habitual problem with Samsung refrigerators. Buyer beware; the ice maker is a poor design.
