I'm pretty sure that the 3lbs qty includes the weight of the sauce because the 1lb packages had less meat than the 1lb packages in the members mark 2lb version of this. There is a lot of sauce and it's rather sweet. The Member's Mark is just smoked pulled pork so you are only paying for the meat and you can add whatever sauce you choose.

OMG! This stuff was sickeningly sweet! It had the Jack Daniel's name, so I was expecting some whiskey/bourbon undertones. Nope, just the sweetest bbq I've ever tasted. I'm in Texas, so we prefer a tangier sauce. Now we know why no one talks about Kentucy bbq. They must have all died of diabetes. The only worse pulled pork is the Members Mark🤮. We've only eaten one pouch. May have to put it in the fridge at work. _Sweet_ revenge to the lunch thief. I bought it to make bbq Frito pie. "Don't try this at home," my palate cried. Tried on a bun with some mustard hoping to counteract the cloying sweetness, no improvement. Hopefully, JD will rethink the recipe, decrease the sugar or put the sauce on the side.Maybe they can come to Texas and learn how to make good bbq.

Too sweet, too much sauce

this is very good! it tastes delicious and it's two bags for the same price. It is very easy to prepare, I made some nachos and they were delicious.

Super disappointed with this. Thought it was going to be delicious and when we tried the first package we found it was unbelievably sweet. We struggle to eat the second package it came with.

Not good. The packets are at least half sauce. The rest is of the pork is fatty and mushy. This might work if you eat in from a bowl but it won't work for sandwiches. I would never buy this again.

This used to be great, but over the past year I've noticed a lot more gristle and other inconsistencies. Today I found a sharp shard of plastic in the meat that wasn't part of the packaging. Never buying again.

Way too sweet and saucy for my taste. Nice packaging with 3 separate bags in case you didn't want to use it all at once. I will not buy again but if sweet n saucy is your thing then go for it.
