Going hog wild!

The whole family went hog wild over this pulled pork. It's so easy to warm up for breakfast tacos, sliders for lunch, or on a hot mess potato for dinner. We not only loved how convenient it is, but also how versatile it can be going from meal to meal (hello, leftovers!). We are calling this a #samsclubdoesitagain moment because not only did we enjoy it, but our picky toddler asked for it twice within one week! Feels like this could be perfect for game days, tailgates & back to school potlucks.

Super Sweet

This actually seems pretty quality compared to some of the other pulled pork products carried by sams. The problem is the sauce is so so terribly sweet. I love a honey BBQ sauce. This is not that. This is sugar enough to make your mouth burn a little.

buy something else

way too saucy & way too rich & way too sweet. it has a good portion of meat in it but could use more & what is there is lost in the sauce. the sweetness & richness is great @ first taste but just about overwhelming. better options available @ better prices.

Sweet! But not in a good way.

OMG! This stuff was sickeningly sweet! It had the Jack Daniel's name, so I was expecting some whiskey/bourbon undertones. Nope, just the sweetest bbq I've ever tasted. I'm in Texas, so we prefer a tangier sauce. Now we know why no one talks about Kentucy bbq. They must have all died of diabetes. The only worse pulled pork is the Members Mark🤮. We've only eaten one pouch. May have to put it in the fridge at work. _Sweet_ revenge to the lunch thief. I bought it to make bbq Frito pie. "Don't try this at home," my palate cried. Tried on a bun with some mustard hoping to counteract the cloying sweetness, no improvement. Hopefully, JD will rethink the recipe, decrease the sugar or put the sauce on the side.Maybe they can come to Texas and learn how to make good bbq.

Sickeningly sweet

Bought this for pulled pork nachos for a family game night. This appealed to us because we love a good bourbon sauce. Well, this had no velvety aged flavor at all. Just sickeningly sweet bbq sauce on substandard pulled pork. A huge disappointment to say the least.

terrible

I bought this at Sam’s club a couple of weeks ago and was sorely disappointed. The tray was full of fat and lots of barbecue sauce. If you did happen to get a piece of meat it was gristle and tough. I had eaten this before and loved it. The quality has declined. Beware.

Quick and Easy Meal

Sometimes you need a quick and easy meal to get you through the day, and I love that @samsclub offers a variety of options for that. Many of my followers were curious about the Jack Daniels Pulled Pork, so I gladly decided to give it a try. You receive two 1.5 lb. bags filled with BBQ Pulled Pork. At first glance, it may not seem like a lot, but once heated up, it shreds into a decent amount of meat. I was able to make four pulled pork sandwiches with just one bag. The BBQ sauce leans towards the sweeter side for my taste, but it also has a savory undertone that helps balance it out. The sauce is well-seasoned and generously provided, so there's no need to worry about dry pork or adding extra sauce. However, I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the meat itself. While it was tender and easily pulled apart, the taste didn't quite meet my expectations. It had a somewhat grainy texture, which my family and I weren't big fans of. Overall, it's a meal that will certainly satisfy your hunger, and it does have good flavor. However, personally, I prefer other options from Member's Mark over this one, so I wouldn't purchase it again.

Do not waste your money!

Our family of five usually buys the Tennessee kind that is sold in the freezer section, but it was out of stock. We decided on this and that was a terrible idea. We cooked per the directions and none of us could get even one bite of this down. My eleven year old said it tastes bitter!

Excellent taste but Where's The Pork?

Don't be surprised if a 1/4 of the micro waved package contains fat & gristle. I know this household doesn't like to eat that type of stuff. Where is quality control? Feed this to CEO see what they think. Excellent taste! I would never buy this again for the fact that there is a bunch of fat and gristle. Save your money and go with another brand.
